  1. I think you are seeing the time that each member first went to the location you see them at.
  2. I :heart smileys too I think you just started a smiley forum this is why
  3. Santolina, here is an image of the CSB settings.
  4. Yes the file it uses is encrypted, and requires a password to open the data file. This keeps it safe from others. And I back is up to a second drive and a CD after adding to it. Make it a regular procedure, create new password, back it up. I also store a back at work as part of my off site backup on CD. Also you can have different users with their own file. I switched from a paid program to Any Password, because it is easier and has more features, including a large area for notes. And the ability to click on a link symbol to connect to the secure login address is very handy. I use it for my bank login, rather than adding the bank to my favorites where anyone might see the link.
  5. Tiny Wizard, I hope all your expectations come true! I see you changed the look of your site again, looks like you are having fun. As you have already discovered, it will never be done
  6. Glad you have it working, and by the way, Welcome to the family Andy and your new home! as you can see, your new family is ready to help. If you need anything else, just ask
  7. Yea! Welcome to the family Santolina and your new home! Yep, just ask if you need help
  8. from the IPB install guide. Note: on the IPS site there is a IPB Documentation page that may explain a lot more, including backing up and restoring the data.
  9. When I moved here, I changed the email at the old host to forward to my ISP, so I would continue to get any e-mail sent to the old host until the propagation was complete. I also set up a guestbook here, and linked to it at the site on the old host, so there would be no downtime for it.
  10. Propagation, when switching from one host to another, can take up to 72 hours for each ISP to update their name servers. If you have a slight difference between your old site and the new one here, that will help see when it happens at your ISP. But you do not have to wait to upload, check your welcome e-mail for instructions on how to upload using your IP address ---- You can begin uploading your files at: ftp.yoursite.com or 66.246.35.30 (or whatever your IP address is) Please use the same User-name and Password as that above. Files for public access (your website) must be uploaded to the public_html directory. Files and directories outside the public_html directory are not accessible to the public. The www directory is just a link to the public_html directory. ---- hope this helps
  11. Yes, that is correct, port 2082. Although most people behind a corporate firewall are not able to connect to port 2082, if you are currently able to, there should be no problem. Oh yes, Welcome to the Family and your new home! We really are like family here. So if you need anything, just ask your new family! We love to help

What type of file are you trying to include? php, html ....... if html, maybe <!--#include virtual="/pagename.html" --> if php, thats hard.
  21. Tracy, how hard was it to install? and do you need anything else to go with it? TIA
  22. Nice to know I will keep my hair a while longer LOL at 60, I think it would have started to go by now. So you may be right, my grand father had a full head of white hair while my dads is receding, as you can see, mine is holding up. Thumbs Up But I stll believe a certain co-worker helped speed up the process Thomas, maybe I should dye mine back to blonde
  23. No you will not see the php pages work on your computer, unless you install apache web server on your computer. If you are on a high speed connection, its not worth it. On a dial up maybe, I still don't think so. once you get the pages working the way you want, its easy to imagine how they wll look as you make changes.
  24. LOL, mine started to go white at 25, Its called work stress syndrome It was hard on my beard, with white streaks in it.
  25. Yea! Welcome to the family and your new home. In searching this forum I found out that Procmail is not installed and is considered third party software. Hope you will not be a stranger here
