  11. In the future please let us know what your server # is or what your domain name is. We can not help without this information. I just checked all the servers and did not see any down time, so perhaps there was a routing issue from your ISP to the server. Especially if you could not get to tchstatus.com Bill

  16. Hello to all TCH Family Members. TCH is preparing its release of Windows based Virtual hosting accounts. However, as everyone knows we are very concerned with uptime and reliability. Would any family members care to partake in a two-three month beta test program? Here is what we need from the beta testers. 1. A domain name that needs hosted. 2. Willingness to test all services 3. Willingness to participate in discussion group on beta testing issues. 4. Interact with TCH support staff in all areas of beta testing. 5. Have a very good knowledge of how to upload a website; no newbies please.. 6. Able to work and administer SQL databases In return for your participation TCH will: 1. Offer free hosting for the first 6 months of your Windows platform hosting. 2. Offer a 50% discount for the following 6 months. 3. When we move from Beta to Release acknowledge the testers with some sort of thank you gift or award. Please remember being a beta tester is a huge responsibility, please don't take on this task unless your serious about this. It will require a lot of work on all our parts to get this program into a public release. TCH is looking for 20 beta testers. Any takers?

  18. Its no different in any line of work. In my last field of employment, before moving into the IT world I saw the same thing. I would see coworker's work less hours, spend less time in training, less time on the street, less response calls and much less attitude get the promotion I was trying to get. Why? Paper on the wall! Bill

  24. As I already explained the server wasn't down. The home page was being served, e-mail was up, apache was up, pop3 was up and so on. The forums were down because we were upgrading some back-end software as I explained.
  25. Well since the server was never down the uptime reports will not reflect any downtime We were making some changes to the servers apache configuration, the home page never went down, it was simply replaced with a generic page as we worked on the upgrade.
