  3. Hello, Until further notice TotalChoice has suspended accepting new clients. This sales stopage is in effect for all virtual and reseller services. Why do you ask? Mainly we have simply grown to fast this month and have not been able to build servers fast enough to keep up with demand. I refuse to over sell our servers, so we have no other choice but to stop taking new orders. However, with this huge growth spurt I want to allow my staff a couple days to catch up with any outstanding issues this new growth may have caused. The customer is always first. If we oversell our services and or servers we would not be everyones favorite hosting company for long. I am thinking we will resume taking orders in a few days, but I promise nothing at this point. Thank you to all our new customers for making January 2004 our best month EVER! Bill
  4. Way to go Bruce! Welcome to the TCH Team!
  5. Per a suggestion we have now added MSN Naughty
  6. I've contacted the developers of CPanel regarding this...I'll keep you updated. How are you logging in? If you use http://www.example.com/webmail than you only have to login once. Thanks for the suggestions mod_gzip is a CPanel thing? I figured it was more server-level since it's an apache module. And for the webmail login reference, see this thread: How To Change Users For Webmail? Basically, I'm talking about how you have to do an apache-level authentication, then the webmail program's authentication. IE, you hit domain.com/webmail, and apache says "user/passwd" then you get past that, and webmail asks for the same. w00t! Thanks. Seems the squeaky wheel does get fixed You are correct, not sure what Nick was refering to. I have this planned to get on the servers in 24-48 hours. Lots of other things going on right now, but mod_gzip should be somethign that our servers can run. Gimmie couple days. Billl

  16. Let me explain where the hostname servernode.net is coming from. When we build up a server at this facility, we give them our exact server specs and they in turn build the server. This includes a fresh install of the Operating System and cPanel. When they have tested the server and are confident it's a strong build, TotalChoice will then purchase the server. With all the above in mind, they have to assign it a hostname in order to put it on the network and test it. We then take over the server and set it up with our standard install and setup. Looks like we botched the hostname on Server54, meaning we forgot to change it somewhere in the setup. This is being looked at now.
