Hi, Whilst there is no limit size, I will bring your attention to the following: I) Email eats up bandwidth, so each time you send a 60mb file, thats another 60mb added to your account. II) If your sending such large emails, surely FTP and downloads are better? III) If you are using the email to spam or pass on illegal files (including, but not restricted to warez, mp3s etc) then your account will be terminiated without warning. IV) If your emails start to clog up the mail server, and if your sending 60mb files at a time, this will clog it up, then again, your account will be terminated V) Some files are not passable via our email systems. Hi, IE does not always fully support CSS! Also all of your margins are illegal CSS they need a PX or EM afterwards! I suggest you work out how big a A4 page is and do some fiddling to make the DiV tags just slightly smaller then this. Also, you may want to create a "print button" which is a popup window which has no pictures in it, just text, that might help too. Let us know about the above things and I will have a think in the morning (its only 0206 am here!) Jim

Hi, And it will warn you when you submit anything under the certificate. I am with Li and Spitwad on this, I would never buy on a Shared SSL just because and besides if you getting loads of money from whatever your selling, then you should be able to get the cert! Jim

This is correct. If you still have problems, then again submit a help ticket and let us know! Jim

If you have lots of sites, you can get a reseller account, then you can go crazy and create as many accounts as you like long as you have the space. Then each of your domain names can point to a account Jim

Tara, First of all change your domain back to where its originally supposed to point to (I think you had it on an ebay auction one?) Then whilst your doing this, I shall work out why your login is failing Jim -

Hi Tara, Ok, first things first, go back to godaddy.com and change it back to the original address and I shall explain everything. I) What you had done is "redirect" your domain. This means that rather then looking at a certain place which will then correctley show your domain name, its just "pointing" at a website, in this case ours! II) What you need to change is the nameservers. In this case, at current, both your name servers are park5.secureserver.net. [64.202.161.137] [TTL=172800] park6.secureserver.net. [64.202.163.9] [TTL=172800] when they should be: ns1.totalchoiceshosting.com ns2.totalchoiceshosting.com Now for the non scientific bit on whats going on: When you buy a domain name, the exact location of where this domain is must be located on 2 servers by regulations laid out. Therefore, at present, yours is on Park5 and Park6. Once this is located, its possible then to do serveral things. The 1st one which you have is to send vistors to another place. This is often known as forwarding or redirecting. This is not what your wanting to do. You can also cloak the name which does something similar below but its best to avoid cloaking. The second is where the domain name interrogates the 2 servers and says "help where do I send this visitor but make sure they don't know?". The servers then reply back "Http://serverX.totalchoicehosting.com/~whatever/" at which point your browser brings up your lovely pages. So go back to godaddy and change your nameservers to ours above. When you have done this, start a help ticket and let us know. Also note this process to move them will take about 72 hours. This is the normal amount of time in all cases when doing this. Its best to move them now then later when you have loads of traffic! Jim -
Hi, Please email billing@totalchoicehosting.com and explain it all there. We can work something out then. Cheers Jim

Hi, This should give you all the info you need about TCH php and installed modules http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/help/info.php Jim

Hi, We have servers in datacenters in Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Georgia and Texas. You can find out more here: http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/about-we...eb-hosting.html and you can find out why we do this: http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/help/id1...tm#june_30_2003 So you can see that at present, TotalChoice web hosting is not here in Europe, even though AndyB, Alan and myself are based here in the UK. (Does mean that we can give customers the best support!) The rest of the questions I shall leave to Bill as its his final decision on wether SSH access can be granted to a user. He can then answer the other questions too. Jim

Scott, A question that I guess quite a few people want to know, is how often do these waltzs take place? Jim
-
Hi, No you can have many different accounts in the reseller account. Whether you can host multiple sites within a single site (which is what your asking) I am not sure about. No Total Choice Web Hosting has no servers in Europe or in the UK. Does location matter to you? Jim
-
Hi, Q3 - Jailshell access only. There is no warranty that we will drop SSH but we know how much customers depend on it so unless something serious was to happen, I dont think we would drop it. Please give a complete list of what you want to to with SSH and then we can tell you. Q4 I believe the limit is 3 on web hosting accounts. Resellers I believe is upto you. Remember they must all point to the root of the directory. Q5 If not using a reseller account, you must submit a help desk ticket for this. With reseller, I believe you do it yourself. Q7 $10 is per domain. For reseller accounts I am not sure Q8 Cpanel can not be skinned by the reseller user. You can add your own logo to the top though. As a side note to Q1 SSL is given free to all web hosting accounts as Li said. However if you have a reseller account, you can not use the shared SSL for the reseller accounts you create Jim
-
Hi, You will need a reseller account to do this with as you can only have 1 site per hosting on other accounts. In the reseller account, you can set up accounts more or less how you want them to be. Jim

Hi, My DMOZ was incorrectly done and I emailed them about it and two weeks later they have fixed it and even updated it. Nice people over there Jim

Tara, You will need to ask godaddy.com to point your new domain name to: ns1.totalchoicehosting.com ns2.totalchoicehosting.com This will mean that your domain name will point to your web hosting account here at Total Choice Hosting. I am a self confessing perfectionist, especially when it comes to web site design in CSS alone. What you do need in all of this is patience. I still sit at my computer at times, lean forward and bang my head on my desk. It doesn't help much but shows you that we all suffer from fustration! All the scripts you where talking about are here at total choice hosting for free. Each comes with good documentation and of course help here from staff and fellow total choice hosting clients. The OS commerce is a very good package and you can see how good it is at there site. Its never bad to ask questions, so don't stop asking them! Jim -

Tara, We don't delete anything here because it shows we have nothing to hide. Your content was not sloppy at all, I actually rather enjoyed the refreshing change in colours and way that you had put thing. Yes the pages won't work because of the way that they are done. Dont give up on here! Espically as whilst u throw money at this city program, you wont be able to move the pages to another host when you want too. Jim
