From the error, it seems you need a port opened on the server. Please post a ticket to the help desk stating the same, we will check it out. Normally we do not open non-standard ports and so you might also have to check out if any other alternatives are present.

Make sure that you are subscribed to the thread denoting your server number, Network and Data Center Updates etc, so that you will get emails when an event is reported here.

Also note that cpanel appends your cpanelUserName in front of your database and user name eg : if you create a database test, on the server it will be of the form cpanelUserName_test Same holds true for the database username as well ie : cpanelUserName_databaseUserName Password is just password

The issue with cpanel is fixed. If you are still having issues, do drop in a ticket, we will gladly check it out.
