  1. It wants database password. Why do you have keuperv_ twice though? Unless you've done something funky it should only be once.
  2. That says that there is the wrong password. Did you include the lines for the username in mt.cfg? and the other line, I forget what it is - should be 3. And did you put the db password in mt-db-pwd.cgi? JUST the password?
  3. Pointing domains at sub-folders/sub-domains is against the Acceptable Use Policy. You would need to purchase a reseller account or seperate hosting plans for each domain. =)
  4. Sorry about the delay on this, Renee. It is now added. =)
  5. The only thing I use webmail for is the spam box - only horde can do that so i use horde =)
  6. rhobite, if you're not getting a confirmation message then the ticket isn't either going through or your email is blocking it. You are using an email address *not* associated with the domain, right? Something like yahoo or hotmail mail, or gmail, would be the best to use in this instance. =)
  7. I haven't, but I went to search on google and was taken aback by the rather large number of hits that mention vulnerabilities. Here is the search. =)
  8. Yes, just put in a fake domain or one you have planned for the future. Then you'll access your site through ipaddres/~username. Hope that helps. =)
  9. He said it's a tag for individual entries - so no, it won't work in an index but will work in the proper archive type. =)
  10. Just as a side note, you don't need the ./dbname thing - that's for berkeley database users - mysql is far superior and what you're trying to use. =) In your mt-db-passwd.cgi (I think that's the name) do you have JUST the password and nothing else?
  11. If you are worried about accessibility avoid javascript and use lots of plain text links, much better especially if someone is using a screen reader etc. You don't say what disabilities you're targetting so in general try to keep it simple.
  12. You might be interested in section 508 useaility and this site checker so you can see what your site looks to the color lind visicheck. In addition to Section 508 you can get a VERY in depth, free report on site content accessiility here. If you follow those guidelines when building your site you'll e off to a good start. =)
  13. I'd suggest submitting a ticket to have it looked at. =)
  14. Ah, you did not include that information initially. =) When you submitted your ticket, did you include the details about the time of the spikes? Since it was not spiking when it was looked into, that may have been some very important information. I'm not really good with optimizing databases, or with phpbb issues if they get so large (442meg is massive, congratulations on a successful forum! =) ) - perhaps some people at the phpbb forums might also have some input?
  15. I would highly suggest you submit a ticket, link at the top of the forums, so that this can be investigated.
  16. *blushes* =)
  17. Happy you got it worked out. =)
  18. One of the things I've seen on the support site about this is to open wp-login.php and wp-config.php and make sure there are no blank lines at the very bottom of the file. Other than that I'm not really sure, as I haven't worked closely with Wordpress. I'm sure someone around here can help though. =)
  19. Ok, when you create a database there are a few steps. Name the database - a single, short word. Your username will be prepended to it, so if you chose "wordpress" it would be cpanelname_wordpress Create a user, say for example "me", the name of that user will then be cpanelname_me Make a password for it. Now, you should see two drop down boxes, choose your new database an da user and cl ick "Add User to Database" The the details you need are server: localhost dbname: cpanelname_wordpress username: cpanelname_me password: password then, you run the file by going to it in your browser (ie: http://www.put_your_domain.com/wordpress/install.php). Hope that helps!
  20. The cache for IE doesn't control the favicon cache, a few refreshes / a few days and it should just start to shwo up. This is a fairly common aggravation with favicons, unfortunately.
  21. Captcha's work with EE, I use them constantly for my comments without a problem. =)
  22. I never shut it down unless I'm not going to use it for a few days (yea right!) or if I need to reboot for a software update (like what happened today). I slept it for all my cavorting to and around California and nothing bad ever happened. It does insta on too which makes it all that more useful. So you needn't shut it down, just close the lid and she'll go to sleep. =)
  23. That depends on the FTP program that you're using and if it supports file resuming..... Can you find out in the help docs on your program?
  24. I'm a powerbook user but a new one, so I can't say. However, some resources if noone here can help: http://www.macworld.com/ http://forums.macnn.com/ Lots of smart people on those, with lots of mac experience. =)
