terminal ftp, though if I need a gui for some reason, I'll use transmit. But I use the ever superior OSX, so.... On the PC I used SmartFTP.

Two things I'd do, 1) Clear out your cache from your browser and then refresh and see if that helps. 2) If number 1 fails, submit a ticket and have them check it. They may need to be re-run. =)

The cPanel demo is actually run by cpanel.net; not by TCH and is thusly out of our control. It has been down for quite some time unfortunately. You can have two domains pointing to the root of your website, (ie: I have lisa-jill.com and distanteaerlymorning.com pointing to the root of my site) but you can not have them pointing at sub-folders unless you have a reseller + account. Hope that helps! =)

A lot of the scripts do "validation" of the mail address - that is, they make sure it's got all the rights parts to be a real address. Part of that is validating the last segment (.com, .net) etc against the possible TLDs. It is very possible that they've not included the .info segment and therefore it won't let you sign up. I'd contact them and complain; I'm sure you wouldn't be the only one with the problem. =)

Unfortunately any computer based machine is going to make a mess of converting tables to CSS - it's just not something that it can do in any reasonable form, not yet. I'm afraid that if you want a site that performs the way you want, you're best to do this from the ground up. =)

I am not seeing the link tracerouting out of my school's network has never worked =) It is posible that I'm not seeing the propogated site - can you tell me, just so it's easier for me to make sure I'm not missing it - where xactly it is and the name of the text (so I can do a find in page). Y'mean something like livesearch?

Is this one of those things whereby it sends an email to the person that emailed you and asks them to verify themselves? Every single one of those that I've had has ended up in my junk box, spam filtering by mail.app. I see no reason for this - I use spam assassin and junkmatcher + mail.app junk mail and get no spam (but about 2-300 a day in my spam box). It's just not worth thechance of missing a mail from someone becaue they missed the verification; or god forbid both people were runninga verification scheme and they ping ponged. silliness. =) All this does is discourage people from emailing you and then make you miss emails you may want to see. My opinion, but hey.

yes, this is yummy, I've been using it for a long time now - helped so much on every one of my pages. It's one of the main reasons I don't use Opera or Safari for that matter...
