  1. Ah, that makes sense. Although... Awstats reports Entry and Exit, right, so I figure that Exit - Entry = the number of unsuccessful downloads? Thanks again, Bruce!
  2. That was very helpful. Thanks, Bruce! If I may ask -- I got the raw access logs and did a search for the file name of the file I wanted to check up on. It came up 30 times, while in AwStats, the file was listed as having been accessed 7 times. Is there a reason for the discrepancy? I don't really understand raw access logs and what all those words mean, so I'm sorry. I really appreciate the help.
  3. Hi. My question is rather straightforward. I'm not very familiar with the different segments of the CPanel, and I've tried checking both AwStats and the Bandwidth tool, but I can't seem to locate anything that will tell me how many times a particular file has been downloaded. Is that tracked, and where can I find those stats, if it is? Thanks so much!
  4. Hi. I've been using my domain forwarders for official emails for a while now, and have had no problems till now. I know I was supposed to receive at least 40 emails, some 5 of which are urgent/very important over the past 7 hours, but I have received nothing. I've tried sending several emails to myself to check and I haven't received them either. Is there a problem with the TCH email server right now? I really hope it's just backed up and that not only will service be restored but that I'll get the emails I've been waiting for in one piece as well.
  5. Ah, that's perfect. Thank you so much!
  6. Thanks, Lisa. I just tried it, though, and I was only able to log in when I typed my account/main username. As I edited into the post above, I was hoping to be able to log into my other accounts, not the default one. If there's a way to do that via the URL you just gave, I'd appreciate learning about it.
  7. Hi. I have several pop3 accounts under my domain and I was wondering, is there a log-in page I can use to check these accounts via a web-browser that won't entail my entering the cPanel, going to Mail Management, going to Add/Delete Account and checking from there? Thanks so much! ETA I know how to access the default email address username@domain directly, but I was hoping that could be done for the other addresses as well, such as, say, irina@domain.
  8. Those kittens are adorable, Don. And thank you all for your suggestions. I have both Photoshop and Irfanview and I shall be checking out Snipe and Picasa. Your suggestions are truly appreciated.
  9. Yeah, I kind of got confused about that as well, as I checked the CPanel and didn't find any kind of gallery script there. That Gallery script looks interesting, Weezy. I'm just looking for a really simple one, honestly. Just allow me to put up thumbnails pages with links to the full versions of the images and I'm good to go. I just don't want to handcode thumbnails pages, that's all. Would anyone know if there's something as simple as that that exists out there? I'm currently at the sourceforge page and this talks about php. As my site's used mainly for storage of my graphics and email and such, I'm not really looking to code around a lot.
  10. Hi. Given the huge amount of space and bandwidth your plan has afforded me, I'm looking to install a gallery on my website. Does TCH support galleries, such as Coppermine, for example? Or even more simple versions? I've never used/installed a gallery before, so I'm not really familiar with the options, but is there ( a ) a possibility of setting one up and ( B ) any chance tech support can help with that? Thanks very much.
  11. Great. Thank you for the assurance, Rob. I have submitted my request. You all are very helpful.
  12. Yes, I know it'll be that easy on my end (that, and changing my username/password, I was told), but I was also concerned about how much work it would be for the staff. Because I know you don't charge for the switching, but if I switch back and forth, it might be too much of a hassle for the support person, and I don't want that. So that's what I was asking after. If it's easy for them to do, then I'll definitely submit that support ticket, as I'd much prefer to having a domain name I can maneuver around right now.
  13. Hi. I'm a bloghosts customer who has decided to host with you in light of bloghosts' current problems. This isn't really pre-sales, but it seems to be similar to other questions in this forum, so I'm putting it up here. Please let me know if it fits better elsewhere. Anyway, onto my concern. Since I requested for an automatic transfer, I was told that my main domain would be the bloghosts one and the parked domain would be the new one I signed up for. This isn't a problem for me, in general. However, it's taking bloghosts a while for them to transfer over my domain name to me. As it stands, I'd have to access my TCH files using the servername/~account URL, and since I transfer a lot among computers and use ones that aren't my own, this is sort of a hassle. I was told over at the support desk that I was allowed to switch between my main domain (still tied up at and directing to bloghosts) and my parked domain (up less than an hour after I bought it, surprisingly and already directing to TCH), but it would entail changing my account/username on the control panel. My question is, then, how much hassle would it be for you (and me) for me to switch to my new domain as my main one for now (so that I can get easy access to files and such), and then switch back to my old bloghosts one once I get control over it? I don't want to be a nuisance and put you guys out, so I'll just do it if all it'll require are a few keystrokes and no huge deal on your end. Thanks very much!
  14. I'm a refugee from Bloghosts and I just want to express how much I appreciate what TCH has done. My site was transferred very efficiently and quickly, and Rick was very prompt and helpful in answering all my queries. Thank you very much! I look forward to having a long and happy stay here.
  15. Oh, I have another question. If I sign up for a second domain name with you, and I decide to take hosting elsewhere, will I have the same problem of having to arrange a transfer, or will I have control over the nameservers and be able to change them myself?
