  1. I see the same in IE6 as Bruce and VI but the font appears to be like a New Times and not the arial (or whatever) I see in Bruce's pic. Perhaps you are working on it when I looked
  2. Very interesting Jim. Thank you for taking the time to share and I hope it all works out in your favor.
  3. Now that sounds interesting Naughty
  4. Hard to say. The black hat is a new look for him . #1 is nice , familiar look and stance but I like the 'pensive' look of #2 as well. Difficult to choose not knowing what the content is.
  5. worst ...worserer....???
  6. ebony
  7. Not meaning to bump, just following through. The system is configured for 802.11b so she's good to go I guess. I'm curious to see how well it works. Thanks again.
  8. I can see that....almost She also has an internet connection at her on-campus apartment so we'll see. Thank you for the input.
  9. THAT was my 1000th post!! woooot What do I win??!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ...don't go there Ty.................
  10. Thanks Raul. A little more costly than I had anticipated but not out of the question. Kid is going to have to come up with one heck of an argument for it though why does she really need to access the net from the library...??????
  11. Thanks Lisa, I have a 802.11b that says it is wi-fi compliant (forgot I had it - also not sure why I have it ). I will have her ask an IT.
  12. The university where my daughter attends has recently outfitted the campus library as a wi-fi hotspot (I assume that's what it's called). Can anyone tell me if her laptop requires a "special" card and / or any other hardware to make her laptop work with this? She has a Dell Inspiron 1100 and it does have a pc-card slot. Thanks.
  13. okaaaaaaaaay - guess my server is possessed then.
  14. Actually you are better off changing the values in the grid itself by manipulating the different checked boxes.
  15. Good on you! You are to be commended indeed
  16. EEEEEK!!!!
  17. heehee..... it's a burtle......um, or something wife's car has the turtles on the dash, mine has a toy platypus for some odd reason Thanks for that
  18. What's a link?
  19. Not on a shared server but yes you can on a dedicated server. I'm sure another forum member will be along with more info.
  20. This has happened to me a couple times, different sites, different server. It was always when I had more than one instance of the same file happenning. As in "fileX.html" deleted once and reuploaded. For some unknown reason it choked, even after emptying the trash. I did open a ticket and it was resolved real fast.
  21. *ahem*
  22. I believe it was TCH-Don (Turtle) that came up with something like : I added the hidden fields as I discovered some people would mess with the displayed results. This way I always get the true error. You could add other fields to the form as well. (requires user to click) example - naugatuckarts.org/any_bogus_name.html I had one for a while that auto notified me but I can't find it now. Used 'body OnLoad() ' to send the page to me. I'll look for it.
  23. .....hoping, hoping, hoping all will be ok. have friends and family down there too...
  24. THAT was a good read Raul. Thanks.
