Rick - Congratulations on your daughter's upcoming nuptuals. Yes, this weekend is Memorial Day weekend in the States. The last Monday in May we honor the fallen. Every year (almost) with our arts commission I help present and participate in a patriotic concert/show to honor and show respect for the war dead by recognizing our living veterans of all service branches. Our community band will perform throughout, set the stage and be the 'background'. Numerous musical acts as well as historic readings and reenactments will be presented in our high schools auditorium (960 all new seats thanks to arts comm!) About halfway into the program I will join another arts comm member (who in fact is taking over my post as vice-chair; sort of the unofficial handoff here I guess) in a pair of guitar / viola duets :"Ashoken Farewell" and "Aura Lee". Then I get to sing again in the choir in a joint effort with the community band. This show has always proved memorable and very emotional. Saturday and Sunday are regular work days for me. Monday we shall go to the parade, watch the floats and listen to speeches. Then maybe later we'll grill up a few burgers or something.

Congratulations BillH and Family! I have one who's graduating college this weekend; you are a far braver soul than I. Wonderous news, I wish you all the best. yes, i was wondering about the 7 kids / abuse dept. myself..........

Thanks. I have found the location of the problem. It appears to be in my profile. I don't know the hows or whys but I created a NewTestProfile and had no issues. Now to track the problem down or just rebuild my profile one piece at a time...... Very curious though.

Argh. I am just having no luck with Firefox whatsoever. I upgraded to v1.0.3 yesterday and now images aren't showing on my own sites. How wierd is that? Everything was working normally and I haven't changed anything. Everything shows fine in IE and Mozilla. (why just my sites and why this version of firefox?!?) Actual Possessed Page Would some of you please look and tell me what you see or don't? All paths are relative and it's never been a problem before. (btw - this is a very old page and the coding is terrible but it should still work) Thanks.

Ah.so it goes. Adaware, spybot and blaster all come up clean, I'm behind a router as well. There are plenty of other things more worth worrying about for sure.

Blea - I put half a dozen urls in my host file last night and today they are back as blank pop-ups. Just stupid little empty windows.......... I may go back to mozilla suite, even though further developement is kaput.

Oddly enough those particular ads have not appeared a 2nd or 3rd time revisiting the same sites and I haven't changed anything. I will however drop those 2 items into the hosts file. Thanks.
