I just finished my aged angus-certified Ribeye steaks that I just grilled out on the back patio. Not EVEn close to my diet, but them thangs is tasty!!! we get them directly from the processing facility (got them yesterday), so they are fresher and more tender than ANY grocery store steak we have eve gotten. And now I am having a nice Bacardi 8 and Code Red while watching a special on VH1 about South Park So... any last-minute predictions??? <evil grin> I think we will get to see something never before done by a webhost!!

HCSS, Something similar was going on out here with MCI recently. What that person did was call the local news station's consumer help team. They got it taken care of right fast like. That would be my advice to you as well...try the local news team. If that doesn't work, find an attorney that will take it on contingency and sue their butts. If you are getting collections notices, then it most likely is already on your credit report.

There is something going on here and we need to get to the bottom of it. Firstly, are you getting these bounced back from your TCH-hosted email? Just checking to keep your account from getting suspended. Next, have you recently performed a virus scan with an up-to-date virus scanning tool? use the Trend Micro one I listed above if you are on a high-speed connection. If you or Depco are still having these issues, please send me a private message and I will provide you with a file to check your local machines for problems. -GG

You guys are cracking me up with the Pepper Bar references! I just told my wife that her birthday was special today because of it. She responded "No, it'll be 00:01/03/02/04" I guess I shoulda qualified it that it is European presentation, huh?

Welcome to the world, Nathan! I see the youngest TCH customer coming... as soon as he can control motor skills enough to click a mouse (TCH is just that simple )

can only respond with chuckles to that one... especially after looking into your mechanized 5.1 gigaPixel photoreceptor eyesockets

I KNEW you couldn't do it!!! Besides, I saw posts from you elsewhere that already proved it BWAHAHAHAA

But that new account price went into effect already. OK OK... it is that my wife gets her birthday present from me at 8PM my time (today is her birthday). Or maybe it is when I will actually get home form my day job? Oh oh oh, I got it! genetically altered pigs will begin flight!

Yeah, right... Bill not posting untill 10PM? riiiight I am loving all of these guesses. This is great. I'll throw mine in... I say it is when the world as we know it will change for the better and the greater good will prevail. There will be more war, no more famine, no more disease and shiny little balls of light will dance around everyone's head. No... I don't do drugs, why would you ask?

As for the next step, just sit back and relax for a little bit. As long as there are no problems with the signup or billing information, you will receive a welcome email in the next few hours with the information you need to get started on the site (upload info, username, temporary password, etc.). If you want to change your billing information, just open a Help ticket and direct it to the billing deaprtment (link at the top of this page). Those folks will get you all taken care of. to answer your monthly bill question... Yes, it would be automatically taken from your credit card. You will receive an email a few days ahead of time telling you that it is going to happen. This gives you time to make changes or whatever prior to the charge actually happening. Oh yeah... Welcome to the Family, James!!

You note that fast reply... and now realize that the reply is the owner of the company... personal service to boot! We truly hope that your search for a new host allows us to add you to our Family! -GG

As BG said above, you will get an email with a server name and info to goto for testing and such. Some of your stuff may not work if you have hard-coded the domain name into the links. If it worked before, though, it should work now. Notice the "should" in there. Your other question is pretty simplae and has Yes written all over it. You will need to make sure that your A and MX records are changed once you are ready to go. Keep in mind, though, that this change can take a couple of days, so do not kill off the old site and email accts until at least 72 hours after the DNS entries are made. And make sure to check in both places for email and such. Keep in mind (if you did not already know) that even though you might be seeing the new site, this doesn't mean the whole world can. Wait the full 72 hours before taking down the old site.

Scotttyz, PRE-Welcome to the Family! One of the things to take into account is the Zero Tolerance SPAM policy for your email lists (one complaint gets you in trouble, but Head Guru is fair). Also, for the exe's, most of the email clients as of late automatically block them anyway. As do MANY of the virus protection softwares, even if they are inside a zip file. Your best bet is to rename the file ext with instructions to rename it upon receipt. I gotta say, the folks areound here are stern on their policies, but extremely fair. They will give you the rope to play with, but you have to tie the knot to hang yourself.

In a word... yes. I use IMAP on my laptop and webmail when away from my lappy or at home PC. Not a problem at all other than what I found to end up being on my end.

When I first read this thread, my initial thought was "I wonder how this is going to show up in a Google search" Oh well... someone looking for dirt is going to be disappointingly surprised! BWAHAHAHAAA

I was sitting here thinking "Man, that car fits right in with his website... you definitely are a Republican, LOL" Great buy, man! Reminds me of an Adam Sandler song BWAHAHAHA! My first car was an old Porsche 914 that I bought as a body and doors when I was 14 and built up. I blew the engine on the afternoon of my 16th b-day (overheated the air-cooled engine). Then there was a string of VW Bugs from 52-74 models. Right now, we have a 1984 Jeep CJ-7 that is already highly modified for of-highway use (rockcrawling) and is about to go under the knife again for major modifications. The other car is a 2003 Nissan 350Z (Fairlady Z for those Japanese folks). That thing is a rocket on wheels and a lot of fun to drive the twisty roads going to the lakes around here. Also fun to open her up on the straigh-as-arrows freeways around here. My wife is the daily driver of the Z and is always telling me of folks commenting on the car and staring as she drives around (young blonde in a sports car, I guess)

My wife's company does the interior design for Quizno's, and was aware of the coming commercials some time in advance. I laugh my tail off every time I see them... and "they got a pepper bar" is ringing in my head 24/7. They definitely are living rent free in many people's heads.

A Great Ape... the opposable thumb and use of tools is jsut too important for me to lose Or maybe a house cat... aloof, lazy and on this earth for only one reason... sleep. "God put the cat on the Earth to prove that not all things have a purpose"

From your original post, it was nearly impossible to be sure that that was the issue. But I couldn't think of any other reason. Okay, okay... back to work with me
