  1. Hi Jack, Alan is right again Thumbs Up
  2. Hi, I just tested connecting to your mySQL database using the information you supplied in the ticket and here - I could connect without a problem. So I can't find any fault with the server setup. I would suggest testing with a package such as mySQL Front to see that you can connect (and that it isn't a firewall or anything preventing access). I would then check that your code is correct.
  3. Hi, The database port number you should use for mySQL is 3306.
  4. That's OK then - as long as it's not stress BSE has been around long enough in the UK for us all to be slightly mad
  5. We just blame Rob instead
  6. Thankfully they look the same to me, or am I drunk
  7. Hi, Welcome to the family You will need to create the database in cpanel (manage mysql) if you have not already done so - and make sure you add a user. From the error it looks as if the username is incorrect; Database Servername: localhost should be fine Database Username: tewfcom_user (if you defined it as user when you created it) Database Password: as you defined in cpanel - manage mysql
  8. Hi, Simply point the DNS to the nameservers here (as you did for youe .us domain) and open a ticket at the help desk asking us to park the .com domain on top of the .us domain.
  9. Looks fine from England.
  10. Hi Annie, Generally because AWstats does not include everything. For example it does not include any of your email (which does count against your bandwitdh).
  11. Hi Matt, Welcome to the family Yes, https will encrypt the information between the client and the server. As you suggest, for security you need to encrypt the data into the database really. That way you get encryption during storage and during transmission.
  12. Hi Annie, We could not manage to do every single account we host at exactly the same time - the load on the server would not be sensible Also, even if we could, it may not be midnight in your time zone - for example, I'm in the UK, and 5 to 8 hours ahead of the USA. In reality we tend to schedule it during quiet times on the server. However, not of your log data is lost, and so you can download it all to your own computer and you have a complete set of data - to split over months however you want to.
  13. OK, Thanks. Yes I'd be interested in a copy of the email, and headers.
  14. Hi Arvind, I would need to see the email header information to determine what was going on. Why have you called the topic TCH Status?
  15. Hi Thomas, yes, it should have copied everything over - reopen the ticket at the help desk and get us to have a look at it for you.
  16. Another perfect answer Thomas Thumbs Up
  17. Hi LinuxHata, For 2 seperate domains, he will need 2 seperate plans. Hence the cost will be $4 + $4 = $8 per month (or $88 per year). These will be 2 seperate accounts, so yes, he will have seperate FTP accounts, email accounts etc.
  18. I suspect that this is because when you select "view" it copies the .htaccess to your hard desk, so that it can then be opened in notepad or similar for you to view it. If you have "viewed" it before, then it will already have been copied to the temp file on your hard disk, hence prompts you asking if you would like to overwite the existing file (on your hard disk).
  19. Hi, Yes, when it gets to the right time for you to do that, just submit a ticket at the Help Desk (link at top of page) and we will take you through the process, and move the sites for you.
  20. Hi xSandmanx First of all - welcome to the family I'm sorry - I'm not sure I understand your question. Are you trying to access cpanel? (try domain/cpanel or IPaddress/cpanel) Are you tring to get to some of the MySQL functions in cpanel and get an error? (if so please open a help desk ticket) Are you trying to remotely access MySQL?
  21. Just the same as upgrading...
  22. Hi, Open a ticket at the support desk, and we'll sort you out.
  23. Excellent News - well done Mike Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
  24. Hi budsdaddy, Just looked at the ticket, I see the problem, I'll follow this up for you via the ticket now, and get your site up and running again
