Hi Nat, Make sure that you have the default address, for all unrouted email, set to :blackhole: then all the junk mail to random addresses on your domain will dissapear. This setting is in the mail section of Cpanel.

Hi, On the standard plans, you can have as many domains parked (all pointing at the same files) as you like, but you can not set up seperate domains to seperate plans. On reseller plans - you can have as many domains as you like, each completely seperate.

I have tested your main account - and could send mail happily (using the info from your earlier ticket). From what you say you have most of the serrings correct; Your Name: John Doe E-mail Address: jdoe@****** Incoming mail server (POP): mail.****** on port 110 Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.****** on port 25 User name (same as your e-mail address): jdoe@****** Password: the password for that email address Turn off SSL Use Authorisation for sending (which is your email address and password - as above For us to test it fully, please include the email address and password on the ticket - and tell us the error message you get when trying to send.

Hi Dennis, Yes, SMTP does require authentification - it should be the full email address for the username and the email account password for the password. This is the same for POP and SMTP. However, if you do a check with POP first, then it remembers your authentification, from your computer, for a short period. Hence if you do a POP check of the email first, you can then send mail via SMTP without repeating the authentification (but only from your computer of course). You should use mail.****** - and this should be set up by default, there is no need to create a subdomain or anything. If this is not resolving - submit a ticket at the help desk and we will sort if for you. You only need to use your ISP to send mail via SMTP if your ISP blocks port 25 and 26 for sending email. Many do block port 25 in an attempt to stop people sending spam. We provide port 26 as an alternative for our family here - but some ISPs also block that.

Hi Annie, You are right, this file is outside your area, so it is not one you can backup. If you are still getting a write error to that file - submit a help desk ticket, and we will sort it out for you.

Hi Gord, Welcome to the family We can change the domain name for the hosting, just drop a ticket into the help desk. What we can't change is the name of the domain name you purchased. If I understand you correctly - you purchased the domain **** and teh hosting for mmydomain.com. If that is the case, just let us know and we'll change the hosting for you.

Boojum, As stated by several of our family, this has been discussed before. If you would like to have a forum of this sort then might I suggest that you purchase a hosting plan and open a forum of your own. I would certainly step in occasionally and join in a discussion on politics, religion or any other controversiol topic. Loaded fine for me from the UK. It might be worth running a tracert to see if you have a routing problem.

It works fine for me. Have you done any modifications to the .htaccess file that could be causing a redirect for your IP address?
