If you are looking for cPanel access for subdomains, then you are talking about a reseller account (but you host domains, instead of subs). Lianna

That's weird. Urchin Stats is in the exact spot that AW stats is on my panel. Do you know what server you're on? Tell you what, can you drop a help desk ticket on this so the guys with power can look and see? Thanks. Lianna

I used a PalmIIIe for years then asked for an m125 for Christmas a year ago. OMG, what a nightmare. The digitizer was terrible and Palm wanted to send me a refurb unit to replace it! Took it back to Office Max and traded even for a new Handspring VisorPro. Yep, I got the gadgets for it too. A little HandCam that doesn't do a terrible job of close well lit stuff. A GPS unit and software for finding my golf ball. DocsToGo for carrying all my xl, doc, mail, pdf and pictures. My brain on batteries. If I just had the color and cd-ability...... Did I mention I'm a tech-junkie? Lianna

I love it here. You people make me laugh every day! Lianna

Yeah, but the price isn't going down on them any time soon, I'm afraid. I like my Handspring, but to take the best of a laptop and combine it with the best of the handheld (handwriting recognition)... that's what I giggle about. Lianna

Anybody got a free tablet pc that I can test out for 'em? Lianna

Current board settings: Allow the use of avatars? Yes Allowed image extensions Seperate with comma (gif, png, jpeg) etc Allow users to use remote URL avatars? Yes Max. file size for avatar uploads? (K) 20 Maximum avatar dimensions 120x120 (WIDTHxHEIGHT) Default sizes for gallery avatars 64x64 All that tells me that it should be working!....but it ain't. I guess one of the guys is gonna have to look into the permissions thing on the folder. Probably the right answer, but I don't have access to it. Lianna

That's weird. It's in mine. Which theme are you using for cpanel? Maybe that will explain it. Using BlueLagoon, it's right under Webalizer in the list. Lianna

Thanks a ton. This is exactly what I've been telling these guys for a week! To hammer my point, I had to eliminate all the variables. Got the email. I'm good to go. Lianna

You should have the info by now...check your mail. Lianna

Awesome! do you have Fetch? I will email you (bill@...) with the specifics. L

Anybody running a Mac with Adobe PageMaker 6.5 installed? Willing to do a quick test for me? Having a problem with an outsource using Macs. Says they can't open .p65 files that we have on server. What I need is someone to download a file, attempt to open it and let me know what happens. That's it. Anybody game? Thanks, Lianna

No, Jimuni. He's talking about THIS board. Lianna

I absolutely love all things USB....EXCEPT on a win98 pc. This is the clear advantage to using the XP OS. IMO and experience, there is nothing USB that you can't truly Plug-n-play onto an XP machine. Len, my advice would be to uninstall the port by removing it from the Device Manager. If you aren't comfortable doing this, don't until you've read the help files and done some research. Another, less painful thing that you should do is make sure that you have the very latest and greatest Service Pack for Win98. Think about it, USB was widespread AFTER win98. Get your OS caught up if it isn't already. Last, and take all of this without warranty or guarantee, but spill the $100 for the XP Home upgrade if your PC meets the system requirements. Afraid to ask, but what Operating System do you have on your pc? Lianna

Yeah, I know it's starting to sound pretty lame isn't it? Hooray! Truth is, I do have a book and have had for over 4 years. Problem is that I haven't opened it. Haven't had to. I said somewhere the other day, that me and code are like me and Spanish: after 7 years, I can read it, but I can't speak it. I admit, I'm learning, bits and pieces as we go. The more I see, the more I get out of it each time. I am a fairly decent programmer, but just not this language. So I guess one of these days, I'll have to come up with a better excuse! Lianna

I just received this from Network Solutions regarding .ORG domain registry and thought that I should share it: Lianna

Horde is much more full-featured and stable. I personally like that it has a calendar built in. Lianna

You're welcome, Steve. Bill, I'm thinking that if you could incorporate the .php page stuff that actually does the real login, it would take you straight from your code into the mailbox. Thinkin out loud, but since I'm not bored, I guess I'm out of this one. ..psstt... by the way, did I mention that I don't know code?? L
-
This is pretty dang cool. This forum apparently enters some sly little semi-colons into the code where it doesn't belong. There was also one } missing. Go here for the code to copy and paste and what-to's. Bill, is there any way to go straight into Horde from the single Login button on your form or do we still have to click Login on the Horde Login screen? Thanks. Lianna

good point and good timing. Since the forums just went through a big change recently, there is a good chance that the upload capability got overlooked? Will check into it. Thanks. Lianna

...and if the mail client that you are using does not like the"@" sign in the username, you can use "+" instead. Like: me@**** OR me+**** Lianna

http://www.kented.org.uk/ngfl/webpub/docs/...mspublisher.doc This is a downloadable file that I think should help you very much. Apparently, there is a File > Save As option for "Webpage" or "HTML" You must save the file as a .pub file so that you may edit your pages again later. You must save the file as a Webpage or HTML in order to publish the set of pages. This will create all of the files necessary for FTP to the host. It will create those files in a subdirectory (folder) called Publish within the same location as your saved .pub file. Does any of this look familiar or ring any bells? Let me know which direction to go. Lianna
-
Ah, there we go. That's what we needed. ...but I don't have Publisher and can't tell you the how's! Hang on though and let me track down another resource for you. (The smartFTP part is easy....) Lianna
