  1. Ed and pphoa, If your problems persist, please drop a help desk ticket about the issue. Ed, you are correct that you should be loading to public_html and that /www is just a false front for that directory. Are both of you using FP2000? Lianna
  2. What kinds of items would you like to have shared in the calendar? Strictly TCH business and family (that's you) items or just any thing? Thanks for the input! Lianna
  3. Pausing and resuming is more on the client side. I use CuteFTP for downloads and, yes, I can pause the download and then resume in a completely different ftp session. The last count that I heard was over 2100 domains being hosted here over 9 virtual servers and 10 dedicated servers. Good luck in your search. Thanks for considering TCH! Lianna
  4. Good find! Lianna
  5. Ok. All taken care of. Y'all go see: Dried Flowers Direct Lianna
  6. Hi, Go here and chat with the guru. Click the "Operator Online" chat image. Your domain name does not resolve on a ping. The name servers do, so the server isn't down. You are on Server7. Tell guru I sent you with these details. Lianna
  7. Oh, yeah. This is gonna be good. Head Guru is giving up some of his space to house some downloadable freeware and trial software. Might take me a little bit to get it organized, but there will be a forum area here where you can suggest software for inclusion. Lianna
  8. Jim, Yes, go ahead and drop a help desk ticket. Do you mean that you do not have access to any stats choices from cPanel OR that any of the stats choices that you choose produce no results? Please be sure to include your username and pass in your helpdesk ticket to expedite the investigation. Lianna
  9. If the domain name that you were trying to register is a .ORG name, then please refer to this thread: .ORG Registry Transition If not a .ORG, then I concur with Jimuni, please try again. Lianna
  10. By the way, for those of you unfamiliar with the history, Trellix Web 2.7 PA (Publish Anywhere) is the immediate predecessor to CuteSITE Builder 3.0. It has the same publishing functions and settings as those for CuteSITE Builder (CSB). Really, except that the owner has changed and a little cleanup being done on the interface, it's the same app. Resources: the best of the best at KW's Site Angela, any other questions that you have about Trellix Web PA, you can post in the CuteSITE Builder and CuteFTP forum here. Just please be specific that you are using TWPA, ok? Welcome to your new home! Lianna
  11. Hey, thanks for those links guys! Lianna

AFTER DNS Propagation - Simply change the CuteFTP Site Manager settings of FTP Host address from the IP Address to: ftp.**** (using your domain name of course). Now to view your site enter the following into your browser address bar: (Replace **** with your domain name.) Hope this helps somebody. Lianna
  13. Welcome to your new home! Lianna
  14. You can access your site by typing in the address bar of your browser: http://ipaddress/~username Example: http://123.123.123.123/~myusername The ip address was sent to you in your welcome letter. Lianna
  15. Very well could be, but if it's not right by tomorrow afternoon, drop a help desk ticket on it for followup ok? Lianna
  16. Yes, you can download a fully functional 30 day trial. If you decide to buy it ($39.95 w/o maintenance support agreement), then they will just send you a Registration (serial)number to enter into the version that you already have installed. That will unlock it for unlimited use. SmartFTP seems to work much the same way as CuteFTP. I just haven't had time to download and give it the workout. Other folks here swear by it. If you need any help using either to get setup, just yell. Lianna
  17. Terry, Oh, yeah. I'm sure that everyone here has their own favs. cPanel does have a built in File Manager. Drawback: one file upload at a time. So, the reco from me is to use a pc based FTP application. From there, it depends on what you're looking for, as you say bells-n-whistles, or price. FREE: WS_FTP LE SmartFTP Not Free: CuteFTP CuteFTP Pro (Secure) CoffeeCup Direct FTP BTW, if you use a Mac, Fetch is popular I hear. I use CuteFTP XP. I love it. I really don't see a lot of utility difference between it and SmartFTP though. Try out SmartFTP, it's free, you don't lose anything for trying it. It is basically just drag-n-drop from your pc window pane to the remote server pane. Lianna
  18. Once you sign up, drop a helpdesk ticket asking for SSL to be enabled for you. Then you'll use: The /secure/ directory part I only used per your example. It could be whatever. Lianna
  19. Yep and my ISP's incoming mail server can't be pinged..... doh! Might be unrelated. Lianna
  20. Whatever you name the folder on your pc is of no consequence. When you upload, you can upload the entire contents (not the folder) into public_html directory on the server and you're golden. As is, with all the gifs and jpgs and html pages. What FTP app do you plan to use? What app did you use to create your site? Lianna
  21. Uhh. I dunno? Sorry Larry, I didn't know what server you were on. Awstats not on that one either? I'll put in a followup for each server to get checked out. How's that? For the time being, 4, 8 and 10 are good for sure. Hang in there and I'll update here when they are all verified. Lianna
  22. Server 8 and Server 10 should now see AWStats available. Head Guru just added them. They were inadvertently skipped during the build of the servers. It may take 24 hours for numbers to generate so please be patient. Cheers, now go play with your new numbers! Lianna
  23. Thanks for the info. Anybody else not seeing AWStats? Can you guys tell me something else? Login to cpanel and scroll to the bottom. On the left, tell me what version of cpanel you're running? I'm on 5.3.0 Release Build 117 Thanks. L
  24. Yep, the help desk can get it figured out pretty quick I'm sure. Or at least they can tell you why server4 (me) and server8 (you) are different. Lianna
  25. Hey, Nick! Welcome home. We should get Johnong to make you a "TCH Cop" avatar! Lianna PS: Mikey, if you're listening, good luck knucklehead!
