  1. For your resold accounts or your own? X-skin is available for the cpanel's of your resold accounts. But it has been stated here before that bluelagoon is the most stable cpanel skin and is the only one offered by SNH in its packages. Resellers are free to choose the cpanel for any package that is resold (do so by changing the theme in the "Add Packages" or "Edit Packages" in WHM)... I'm sticking with proven, and not giving my resold account holders anything to complain about...but that's me. Lianna
  2. The Paypal Virtual card: Go to your Paypal account and login Click the Withdraw tab Click the option, "Shop online with Paypal Virtual Card" Read and do it. It's a handy little feature. It creates a credit card number for you to use during checkout on whatever site that you want. It is actually a debit from your existing Paypal balance. L
  3. ...and you can choose to either pay by the month or prepay annual which gives you the 12th month free (limited time offer). Lianna
  4. You're welcome. Could you post back here a link to one that you particularly like or that is very basic and simple to setup/config? Always looking for reco's. Lianna
  5. Steve, hang on and let me do a quick search. i thought that I had run across an open source form-to-db thingy at one point (been months ago though).... be back. Lianna ... try this one for starts on the idea: http://www.phpbuilder.com/annotate/message...php3?id=1013354 Here ya go! This is what I was looking for - http://www.phpguru.org/formproc3.html http://www.phorm.com/ http://phpformgen.sourceforge.net/ (Found at Hotscripts.com: http://www.hotscripts.com/PHP/Scripts_and_...rm_Processors/) Lianna
  6. Ok, you have both said that you "deleted" the first guestbook, right? Exactly how did you go about doing that? I have tried to replicate the issue, but am not successful. After creating the guestbook (named: "gbtest"), I went to Manage MySQL in cPanel and deleted the database for lstover_gbtest. I also deleted the USER for lstover_gbtest. Then I went into file manager and deleted the folder in public_html called gbtest. Then, I went to cPanel and added advanced guestbook, again called gbtest and I show only one db being used by it. So, I'm guessing that you guys just deleted the directory for guestbook, but did not delete the Database or Users. Am I way off base here? L
  7. Ok, let me see if I can replicate this tonight and advise you better. L
  8. Camppain, When I listen to the clip that you've given the link for, it plays in its entirety. I mean, it fades at the end, just as if it were meant to. It does not appear "cut" in any way. It did take several seconds to load on IE6, DSL into MediaPlayer. I'm wondering if it just had not fully DOWNloaded for you when you attempted to listen. L
  9. Not unswamped, just needed a quick change of scenery! LOL L
  10. Try this: http://www.webmasterbase.com/article/228 L
  11. Can you use cPanel's PHPMyAdmin to delete the excess db(s)? L
  12. What's the url of the page with the mp3 on it that is getting "cut"? What is the size of the original mp3? What is the size of the "cut" mp3? L
  13. First, go to your cPanel and Enable Frontpage Extensions from there. Then, use Frontpage to publish. All of the info that you need to enter into Frontpage was supplied to you in your welcome email when signing up for your account. Is there a specific issue that you are having? L
  14. ABC.com, like in ABC television? I can't successfully ping either. Both resolve to the same IP address of 204.202.132.19. What am I missing here? Are you hosting abc.com? If so, from WHM, what IP address has been given? Lianna
  15. Let cPanel do all the work for you! phpBB is an option through the control panel. Just click it and follow the directions. Schmeazy. Lianna
  16. Well, yes and no. Yes, because then I (me, myself) would know how to get your counter implemented. But, no, because there has to be a way to insert raw html into Frontpage, otherwise tons of people wouldn't be using it (contrary to my personal opinion of FP ). If you have Dreamweaver handy, then you could just open the page to contain the counter. Click the toolbar button to "Show code and design view". In the bottom (design) pane, scroll to where you want the counter located and click the cursor into position. Then in the top (code) pane, paste the html generated by cPanel. You might see a placeholder or marker appear in the design pane. Press F12 to preview and make sure that all is well. Save the page and ftp it to the site. Frontpage must have a similar feature to view the code. That is where you must enter the generated code, not the design view. Sorry that I'm not much help. Lianna
  17. I'm sorry that I can't help with this as it is definitely a frontpage issue and I don't use frontpage. Does anyone out there use FP that can help? Lianna
  18. Do you mean the cPanel backup function? Go to cPanel, click on Documentation and then un-collapse Access Menu, then click Backup: It will work, by using the cPanel Restore function. But, as the documentation reads, perhaps the zip app that you are using does not recognize the format. Lianna
  19. Ok, I have Office XP, but not Frontpage. When using Word to create a web page, for example, you select View > Source Code from the menu to access the html of the page and then you would insert the code for counter in the appropriate place in the source. Anybody with FP have any offerings? Lianna
  20. You have multiple domains that you want to host within your package or are you looking for subdomains with specific FTP users? Neither option would require any Apache modifications. I guess what I'm asking is, "What will be your url and what would be an example of a url for a family member subsite?" Hosting multiple domains: (****** AND yourauntsdomain.com) Hosting multiple domains is only available in the Reseller packages where you are given access to a Web Hosting Manager control panel (no need to do anything with Apache). WHM is where you would set up all of the domains that you want to host. Each hosted client has a cPanel of their own. You cannot host multiple domains using the Silver package. Subdomains w/ FTP Users: (****** AND youraunt.******) This can be easily done within cPanel without any direct Apache modification. And can be done with the Silver package. Lianna
  21. Turtle, you know that I don't know beans about HTML, but if that is the first line of your emails and the code immediately follows the 'subject', then... move that line of code to before the subject? What does that do? <now that you are all laughing hysterically... have a good night... I baked 16 dozen cookies, wrapped too many presents and watched Scooby Doo over and over with my son. Zoinks! I'm beat! > Lianna
  22. While I didn't have time to fully explore, I did do a quick cursory chat room implementation... findings: 1) I did have an Admin link... and I could access it. 2) Could not rename the rooms from there, but could when accessing the DB through PHPMyAdmin. Sorry that I don't have more for you...could you give me the url where I can find the chatroom that you've implemented? Maybe that could give me a better idea. Lianna
  23. Has your domain name propogated yet? I mean, can you access your site via your domain name vs. IP address? If not, the counter may not work. What's the url where we can find the counter you've placed? Lianna
  24. Use the cPanel File Manager and look to see if you have: index.htm AND index.html If so, realize that they are two distinct and different files. One is the SNH welcome the other is probably your site's home page. Simply delete the SHN file. Lianna
  25. Welshwizard, What app are you using to create your pages for the site? If using a WYSIWYG, often you must use a pass-through technique or the app will have a specific Insert option for additional code. Lianna
