How To Upload Diff. Files In Invision Forum?
TCH-Bruce replied to james8547's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
You will have to add a MIME type to the conf_mime_types.php file in the root folder of your forum. I don't know the exact syntax for doing so. Maybe one of the other TCH guys can help. I'll see if I can find the info for you. -
Do a CHMOD 711 on the folder and it will allow you to link to a file for download. When they try to go to the folder they will get a "forbidden" error.

I use a text editor (vi) and HTML-kit. Moved to HTML and CSS for better exposure.

Develope Site Offline Before Ordering Tch Service
TCH-Bruce replied to foggysps's topic in Pre-Sales Questions
Welcome to the family, foggysps! As long as you haven't coded anything in your scripts or web pages that reference absolute paths (i.e.: C:, D:, E:...) you should be able to upload your site and it will work as it does in your environment. -
This should work for you. $mailprog = '/usr/sbin/sendmail -t' ;

This thread is being closed. Religion and hosting do not go hand in hand. If you would like to have a forum of this sort then might I suggest that you purchase a hosting plan and open a forum of your own. I'm sorry for having to close the thread but we can not allow this to get out of hand. I hope you understand.

To change the fonts being used in phpBB go into the administration section of your board. Go down to the Styles Admin and select Management. Now select edit for the template you are using. You will see several places where you can enter fonts, sizes and colors. Make your changes and save your settings.

Welcome to the family, Alex1965! You will have to open a Help Desk ticket (link above) and the techs will get it sorted out for you.

Welcome to the Family, Sue! Don't know if your FP extensions may be causing the problems or not. They may be corrupt. You could try uninstalling and reinstalling them through cpanel. The counter really isn't necessary since you can get your page hits using AwStats in cpanel. Just a thought.

9 times out of 10 you are bouncing email back to a non-existent email address so no loss there.

Glad you liked it. They just released a new verison on 2.29.04 and the next version is already in beta testing. It just keeps getting better.

I have multiple business accounts and several domains. Having all the mail go to one account would never work. There would be no way to keep it straight. In one account I get over 500 messages a day.

I haven't found a way to upload images but it does allow IMG tags to images else where.
