  1. I don't know about the LAST command but I would assume so. Have you tried www.mail2web.com to try accessing your email account. I have used it in the past.
  2. TCH does not have .ASP support at this time.
  3. Thomas, Raul is correct that ACDsee is using an alpha sort instead of a numeric sort. The only way you could get what you want is to name all your files with the same number of characters padding with leading zeroes.
  4. You can do it with PHP simply enough.

  6. Looks like everyone is out doing something today. Happy 4th of July everyone. And I hope everyone has a safe holiday weekend.
  7. I'm not sure how it builds it's Bayes filtering information. But it's working quite well. As for more white list or black list entries you can edit the user_prefs file in the .spamassassin folder using File Manager in cPanel.
  8. I am assuming that your site is hosted here at TCH and that is the email you are having problems getting. Your incoming server name should be mail.****** If you still have your welcome email you could try entering the IP address XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX you were given for your site and enter them in your incoming mail server name field. Also your logon should be set up as you@****** and the password you set.
  9. Very strange indeed. I haven't seen anything that blocked incoming email, only outgoing. How do you have your user name defined to login? someone@samsite.com or someone+samsite.com One of those should work.
  10. You can have a second domain parked over the original domain but you cannot point another domain to a sub folder or sub domain within your account. For that you would require either two individual hosting accounts or a reseller account.
  11. Hi Samantha, The smtp.isp.com was meant to be your ISP's outgoing mail server. Have you tried both port 25 and 26 using your own domain for outgoing?

  13. Try this one: http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=74&e=3&u=/cmp/20040702/tc_cmp/22103407
  14. Hey Raul, that's interesting but wouldn't it make more sense for people to stop using the IIS server instead? Seems most of these exploits appear to happen on a M$ web server.
  15. I don't know how long the domain trasnfer would take. Are you the administrative contact for your domain name. You don't have to transfer the domain name if you have access to change the DNS (name servers) which is all that is necessary to change. As for subdomains you can have unlimited subdomains. When I said park one domain on top of the other means if you enter http://****** or http://yourdomain.org they would load the exact same start page since they are pointing to the same web space.
  16. Absolutely. And if your .com and .org are going to open the index page and not a sub-folder or sub-domain you won't even need the reseller account since you can park one of the domains over the other. If the sites are going to contain different content then yes you would require a reseller account or two individual accounts.
  17. Not sure I am understanding the question. But during propogation email will go to which ever DNS address it has when sent. That's why email will appear in one place or the other. It will clear up totally in about a week or sooner.
  18. I agree with Robert. I just don't see IE going away anytime soon if ever. You just need to stay informed and keep applying the patches.
  19. I used a WinSpeed DSL modem for about 3 years with no problems then switched to SBC and now have a SpeedStream DSL modem that hasn't been rebooted since December.

  21. I take it you have set the forum permission to allow uploads. You also have to set the group permissions that you are allowing to upload a file size limit. This is from the quick help of the Max Upload field.
  22. Welcome to the family, NightShyamalan As Ludo says you will receive email at both places while propogation takes place. However email propogation can sometimes take a little longer than 72 hours.
  23. How long has it been since you turned Spam Assassin on? It should get better as it builds it's Bayes filters.
  24. Welcome to the family Mouncey As Dave mentions, your domain servers just need to point to the TCH nameservers and you'll be all set.
  25. You need to be sure that your upload folder has file permissions set to 777 for everyone to be able to upload. This is done through file manager or an FTP client.
