Welcome to the family, stokes!

You can access cPanel over SSL by entering this https://serverXX.totalchoicehosting.com:2083/ Replace the "XX" above with your server number.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the front page extensions? Careful, if you have modified your .htaccess files manually you will want to make backup copies before the uninstall/reinstall.

Welcome to the family, David. Unless you purchase your own SSL certificate and have it installed you are going to see this warning. Just accept it and you are good to go. If you want an encrypted connection the regular webmail login will not give it to you.

Kyle, Yes, you will have to do as Ellen suggests. Open a Help Desk ticket and give as much information as possible so they can resend your welcome email. And welcome to the family!

Welcome to the family, waveflux. Usually when you encounter a 500 error means that you have the worng permissions on the files or they were uploaded in a binary format when they should have been ASCII format. They should have a setting of 755 Here is a tutorial for installing Moveable Type Also, I am moving this to a more appopriate forum for organization.

Hi alyussium, You can still sign up here. When prompted for the domain name enter your current domain name even though you will not host it here. A domain name is required to open an account. With out a domain name you will have to access content on the TCH servers using the "IP/~user name" convention but it will work. You will not be able to receive or send email without a domain name through TCH.

Can you provide more information? Links?

Charlotte, sorry to see you go. Come back anytime. Best of luck.

Image Degrading When Published
TCH-Bruce replied to Ninepatch's topic in Cute Site Builder & Cute FTP
Hi Beth, You are going to get that type of degradation using multiple software to manipulate the images. I would suggest as Don mentioned to put your images into another folder and access them with the "IMG" tag in the HTML. Paint Shop Pro comes with borders that you can apply to images as well as being a full blown image editor. There is another software that I've used in the past that allows you to be creative with images adding borders, vignettes and a host of other things called Professor Franklin. This program also has the ability to compress images without losing to much quality. http://www.swsoftware.com/PF_Products/photo-editor.htm -
Not a problem. There's always someone around with an answer.

This was a maintenance release and doesn't relate to security issues so moved to another forum for organization.

Yes, it's possible. Move the main domain name you want to move and then once it's done open a help desk ticket and request that the second domain be parked on top of the domain you just moved. There are no extra fees involved.

Well first of all auctionupdate.c is a "c" source file so it will not execute it needs to be compiled before it can be run. That is what the "build.sh" file is for, to compile it. Then the crontab would look something like this. /home/username/path/to/auctionupdate localhost /home/username/path/to/cron.php But you don't have shell access you cannot run the "build.sh" file. Open a help desk ticket (link above) and explain what you are wanting to do and ask if they could compile the auctionupdate program for you.

Hi Griff, The techs will move everything for you.

Been all over the site but can't find an email for support. I did find a media contact email address that you can use to see if they can give you a support email address. kat.james [at] skype.net

Welcome to the family, pabagency When did you sign up for your account? There is a 24-72 hour for domain propogation to be updated. During that time depending on which DNS server you connect to through your ISP you will either see your old site or your new site. I have checked your domain whois and you do have the correct DNS servers listed for here at TCH. So it's just a matter of time for all the DNS servers to catch up.

Excellent!

Glad it's resolved.
