  1. I guess I should. I wanted to see if I was the only one, or if it was something more.
  2. It's not coming up at all. This is the first time this has happened to me on my server. Is something the matter? Is there a way I can access it outside the control panel?
  3. Thank you so much!
  4. Until recently, I could access the domain of my site ( http://www.sugandya.us/ ) with no problem in mozilla. But now, it keeps forwarding to a page that doesn't exsist anymore. ( http://www.sugandya.us/subsites.html ), and there's no forwarding or redirect tags in the index page that I know of. However, it works just fine in other browsers. I haven't touched my site for a while, so it's not on my end. What happened and how do I fix this?
  5. Unfortunately, it doesn't.
  6. I've been using Eudora for a while as my pop e-mail checker thing. Up until yesterday, I've had no problem sending and reciving e-mails. Today, my problem is that I can recive e-mails, but not send them. I always get an error: Server not responding; lost connection to the server. I have always used mail.mydomian.com, and it's worked both ways. Today I tried using smtp.****, but that gave me a "DNS-Domain name does not exsist" error. Authorization is turned on and everything. If there's a prob w/the server, I'm on # 27...
  7. I did. Still didn't work. Then I went to the members edit section and edited the file size of the member's mask (I didn't know I had to fill that in!). Now everything works. Thanks!
  8. Hi, 've got a question about using IPB Even after setting the forums to allow members upload access, many of them still can't see it. So, I went and manually applied a permission mask that allowed full uploading access to those who wanted it, but they still don't see the file box @ the bottom like they should! I even applied the same to another non-admin account, and I see nothing. Am I missing an extra step? I see the filebox just fine, but not my validated members.
  9. Ack; nevermind. Found the configuration file in the includes directory in fixed it, lmao
  10. Hi! I just installed an osCommerce script. On the index page, I keep getting the error: Warning: The downloadable products directory does not exist: /home/sugandy/public_html/shopdownload/. Downloadable products will not work until this directory is valid. Do you know if there's a file where I can insert that necessary / between "shop" and "download?" I can't find it, and it's definetly not in the admin panel (or... is it?)
  11. I tried what you said. I tried to run the script, and got the message: Error : "beyondconfig.pl" file execution failed! Check "beyondconfig.pl" file for syntax errors (try : perl -d beyondconfig.pl). So, I used MacPerl to check the syntax and re-uploaded everything. I tested my script; it works! Thanks a lot!
  12. Hello, I am new to TCH. I'm in the process of transferring my old files and scripts to this new server. The particular script I'm trying to access right now is an interactive story located at http://lk.sugandya.us/lktale/beyond.cgi. I have uploaded my files and set the permissions of the directory (lk/cgi-bin/lktale) as directed: Directory of Script- 777 Then, I uploaded the files in text mode, and set permissions to: beyond.cgi - 755 beyondconfig.pl - 755 beyond.txt - 777 oldies.txt - 777 rectime.txt - 777 (other files) - 644 My problem: When I try and visit the script, I get the 500 Internal Server Error. I checked cPanel as directed by one of the messages in my search for help on this board. Here is the exact error line I got: [2003-06-22 12:59:53]: error: directory is writable by others: (/home/sugandy/public_html/lk/lktale) I've checked the script itself; all my paths were set properly for my new site. At first, I thought it being located in a subdomain's directory would affect it, but I moved it to other directories, including the top level. I still got the same error in cPanel. Is it illegal to set script directory permissions to 777, although it is required for the script to run? I don't understand what is going on; it worked fine on my old site. My script comes from http://kompashka.hypermart.net/download/beyond.html.
