You can use a program called PopTray (www.poptray.org) that sits in your system tray to notify you of new mail. You can also build filters with it to purge spam before downloading. What is the cgi script supposed to do. Normally you call cgi scripts with an action associated to a submit button. But if you replace you link with this it may work.

It is most likely a client side block of popups. I had the problem using IE and PopThis with MT. Just adding your site to allow popups should solve the problem.

Hi Paulo, he was stating that he sometimes gets timeout errors when checking email. If there is a routing issue from his location to the TCH servers it is possible for the connection to timeout. That's all I was saying.

Did you get a confirmation on your domain purchase? If so there should be nothing to worry about. Use the domain name you purchased for registration purposes. And welcome to the family.

Did you purchase a reseller plan or a regular hosting plan. The Starter Plan is a regular hosting plan. You need to update your nameservers at the registrar you purchased your domain though. They should be set to NS1.TOTALCHOICEHOSTING.COM and NS2.TOTALCHOICEHOSTING.COM. Is that what you are asking?

Welcome to the forums. I don't think it's possible to change the permissions through phpadmin. You can delete the user and readd them to the database using the Manage MySQL finction in cPanel.
