I've never used the script you are trying but a lot of users here have used Ultimate Form Mail.

No there isn't. The only way to keep static content is with frames. How ever frames are not necessarily a good thing when it comes to search engines. But if you are using the same content on each page, once downloaded it is usually pulled from the user's cache instead of downloaded again.

Glad you got it working. Welcome to the family and forums.

Okay, I had a look at the template. You need to take everything between the <!-- and --> within the style section and place it in an external stylesheet. Then you need to uncomment this line <!-- link rel="stylesheet" href="templates/subSilver/{T_HEAD_STYLESHEET}" type="text/css" --> Making it read like this And I believe the style sheet must be named subSilver.css for it to work properly. Place it into the same folder as the templates.

Please open a help desk ticket and ask if it can be installed. The staff/techs do not monitor the forums and the mods do not have access to the servers.

I've use an FTP client from day one. Didn't even know there was a file manager for months. But I do use it now as TCH-Dick does. When I need to edit something quickly I will do it with the file manager.

Glad you got it working. Thumbs Up

If you use your TCH e-mail and the server is down, you won't get anything forwarded to your Yahoo account. Good catch. I never thought you were.

I hate filling out forms to try something that is supposedly free.

I've never tried that script but I see that they offer free support on their site. http://www.tectite.com/formmailpage.php

Welcome to the forums, Farah!

Just log back into the board with your section31 ID and you won't lose the posts. Bill just wanted you to create another user ID to see if you would receive the email messages.
-
Yes you can do that by publishing your site to a folder on your won hard drive and then burning that to a CD. However if you are using anything that requires server side programs like MySQL, Perl or othe cgi it will not completely work. Has to be basically straight HTML and image files.

Because it is part of cPanel but it is up to the hosting company to allow it to function. TCH has chosen to disable the function due to security reasons.
-
It was a freeware app I found. It's main function is for doing trace routes and it has a built-in Whois function. Here is a link for it: http://www.foundstone.com/index.htm?subnav=resources/navigation.htm&subcontent=/resources/proddesc/trout.htm

Yes, and there's another cool thing you can do with forwards. You can give out addresses that don't exist in your domain as accounts if you set up forwards for that address to an actual account. I use this feature when filling out online forms. I will use the name of the site I am using it on like anyplace@****. I create a forward to my real email address for that address. If I start getting spam to that address I know my address was sold or harvested and I just remove the forward. No more spam and I don't do business with them anymore.
