  1. I am trying to upload an entirely new website to an already existing one. How do I do this? I tried ftp ing the files, but the website still looks like the original. Do I have to somehow erase the old files? Also, can I find an easy way to convert .asp pages(in Front Page) to .html. I recently had my website redesigned by someone else, but they have it on a windows server. I want to bring it onto TCH's linux servers. Thanks
  2. I just wanted to let everyone know about my travel website. Donna Darlington Travel Center EDITED: removed other content. Please read the forum guidelines. o Family Members may not use the Forum for commercial gain.
  3. I don't really know what I am doing. I want to be able to have my website visitors register on my website with the intentions of putting them on an email list for me to send newsletters. I also have a form I want them to fill out to get a quote on a cruise or trip. Would I be able to do this easier if I purchase the Pro version? Since I don't know what I am doing in the first place, I don't know that this would buy me anything, Thanks, Donna P.S. Please look at my website to see the Let Us Beat Your Quote Form for an example. I don't have the registration form setup yet.
  4. Thanks for all your suggestions. I posted on their forum, but no one has given me useful information. I have absolutely no experience with knowing how to get a script onto my web. I wouldn't even know where to begin. That is the help I am asking for. I guess I need someone who can walk me through the whole process from start to finish. Thanks, though, for trying to help. Donna
  5. I am pulling my hair out, because I don't even know where to begin. Is there someone who can give me step by step instructions on what to do. I have printed out info from their website, but I can't make heads or tails of it. When I try to put in form action = mailit.php like they said, FrontPage keeps changing it to form action=quote.shtml. I don't understand. Now, when I go to the website and press submit on the form, it says "The requested method POST is not allowed for the URL /Quote.shtml" Please, please help. Here is my website: www.dtrav.com I am trying to use the mailit.php for the "Let Us Beat Your Quote" form. Mad!!! Mad!!! Mad!!! Thanks a lot.
  6. I am not very good at this website stuff, but I am slowly learning. I have a form on my website. I want to either be able to insert it into a database (1st preference) or have the results emailed to me. Can someone please help. I found a script, but I'll be darned if I know how to install and/or what to do with it. Any help would be deeply appreciated. You can go to my website and the link I am providing to see what I mean: http://www.dtrav.com/Quote.shtml Thanks, in advance, for any help you are willing to provide. Donna
  7. I figured out how to setup the database, but I'll be darned if I know what to do next. I know that I somehow have to determine what information/fields are in the database, but I don't know how to put the database together. Maybe this is too much for me. I actually want to put together a database that collects the names and email addresses for potential customers. I don't even know where to begin. I called my database "clients", but I don't know where to put the fields in. Is this stuff as hard as it seems? Thanks, Donna
  8. Well, I am completely ignorant as to how to setup a database for my website. Can someone please please help? I don't even know where to begin. I have a website that I want to get people to sign up with their email address. I also want them to fill out a form and then have it notify me that someone signed up. I don't know if I am asking too much, but if someone could help me I would be eternally greatful!!!! Thanks, Donna
