  1. Hello, Does TCH support the .NET Framework (version 2)? Thanks!
  2. Hello, Tech support tells me streaming media delivery is available with a dedicated server. I have looked at the dedicated server packages but don't see any reference to on demand streaming video. Can you tell me if this service is available and if it is where can I go on your site to read more about it. Thanks for you time! D
  3. Hello, Does anyone know if the form mail script, Phormjr will still work with PHP5? Thanks much!
  4. Hi Guys, Thanks for your responses! Alas, I do have SMTP authentication turned on in my mail client and I am using web mail (Horde) to try and retrieve incoming messages from the new e-mail address. When I send an outgoing message to that address through my other TCH account (on server 34) I get the following error when it bounces back, can anyone decipher this ? Thanks agian! This message was created automatically by mail delivery software. A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed: test@domainname.com SMTP error from remote mail server after RCPT TO:<test@domainname.com>: host dns3.totalchoicehosting.com []: 550-server34.tchmachines.com [] is currently not permitted to 550-relay through this server. Perhaps you have not logged into the pop/imap 550-server in the last 30 minutes or do not have SMTP Authentication turned on 550 in your email client. ------ This is a copy of the message, including all the headers. ------ Return-path: <wawa@domainname.com> Received: from c-67-168-16-43.hsd1.wa.comcast.net ([] helo=butchie999) by server34.tchmachines.com with esmtpa (Exim 4.52) id 1GLL2d-0007WW-7V for test@domainname.com; Thu, 07 Sep 2006 10:39:43 -0400 From: "Name" <wawa@domainname.com> To: <test@domainname.com> Subject: test Date: Thu, 7 Sep 2006 07:39:46 -0700 Message-ID: <009d01c6d28b$7726dac0$6400a8c0@butchie999> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="----=_NextPart_000_009E_01C6D250.CAC802C0" X-Priority: 3 (Normal) X-MSMail-Priority: Normal X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook, Build 10.0.6626 Importance: Normal X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V6.00.2900.2962 This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_009E_01C6D250.CAC802C0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit ------=_NextPart_000_009E_01C6D250.CAC802C0 Content-Type: text/html; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META HTTP-EQUIV=3D"Content-Type" CONTENT=3D"text/html; = charset=3Dus-ascii"> <TITLE>Message</TITLE> <META content=3D"MSHTML 6.00.2900.2963" name=3DGENERATOR></HEAD> <BODY> <DIV> </DIV></BODY></HTML> ------=_NextPart_000_009E_01C6D250.CAC802C0--
  5. Hi All Does anyone know what the IP addresses are for: dns3.totalchoicehosting.com -and- dns4.totalchoicehosting.com Our old host/registrar (Speakeasy.net) has a place to enter the IP address for "A Records"?? I'm not sure what this is, I entered the Ip address for my server (125) but this doesn't seem to be correct. We are pointing our domain to TCH and so far everything works great except incoming mail. I've been able to login to cpanel using our domain name and even FTPd a temporary web site. I can send mail from our new e-mail account but mail sent to that address just bounces back with an error: Permanent Failure: 550-rwcrmhc15.comcast.net_[]_is_currently_not_permitted_to_relay Delivery last attempted at Thu, 7 Sep 2006 03:14:32 -0000 What can I do? The support at our old host has been so lame! Could it be a Comcast issue? Thanks VERY much for your time!
  6. Thanks for the replys everyone! I am all for switching to MySQL. My client has an Access database that I want to convert. In the conversion tool from BullZip there is a field to enter the host address where the MySQL database will reside. Does anyone know what the path would be? Also, the port number?? Thanks much for any tips or tutorials you can point me to.
  7. Hi Folks, Wondering if anyone has used this conversion program from BullZIP.com to convert an Access Database to MySQL : I'm new at MySQL, is it as good as it sounds? I am thinking of trying it and I am wondering if anyone knows what to enter in the "host" and "port#" fields for the destination database. Thanks!
  8. Thanks SOO much for finding that bug report for me!! I tried the suggested patch for the mail.php file and everything works perfectly now. You guys are the greatest!
  9. Thanks for the quick response guys, and for pointing me in the right direction! I checked my htaccess file and don't see anything that looks like magic_quotes_gpc PHP However, the error is always triggered by the use of single quotes (or apostrophes) in posts submitted via e-mail. Other punctuation is not a problem. I found that some other folks were having the same problem in the WP Support Forum so I posted my ? there too. Know of anywhere else I can check? Thanks again!
  10. Hello- I've been receieving the following error message that relates to a post to my WordPress blog: WordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 's = robots.txt file=20 which is placed at the root level: INSERT INTO wp_posts (post_author, post_date, post_date_gmt, post_modified, post_modified_gmt, post_content, post_title, post_excerpt, post_category, post_status, post_name, comment_status, ping_status, post_parent) VALUES ('1', '2005-10-13 19:45:36', '2005-10-14 02:45:36', '2005-10-13 19:45:36', '2005-10-14 02:45:36', ' The line that reads "'s = robots.txt file=20 which is placed at the root level:" is part of the test in a post that was submitted a few days ago. Support at WordPress suggests that one possible cause is if the PHP version on the host has been upgraded and the Zend Optimizer has not. I know not what this means but this is where I read it - http://wordpress.org/support/topic/18678 Can you folks tell me if this might be where my problem is? Thanks so much for your time!- Oh yeah, I'm on server 93 black cat
  11. Thanks much for the fast responses! It was in the stats package where I saw this. What made me take notice is I know who this IP address belongs to, (not a search engine). So, hits with no bandwidth made me wonder what the implications could be. Guess I'll just keep an eye on it for now and see if it continues. Thanks again for getting back to me-
  12. Hi all- This is my first post so just wanna say thanks for the fantastic service and friendly attitude in these forums. Makes a person feel mighty welcome! Question regarding stats, does anyone know what it might mean if you have pages and hits registering from a particular IP but with zero bandwidth? thanks-
