  4. I believe 512 bytes is the correct size. The problem I think she is having is the files do not exist in the location she is pointing to.
  5. I use CuteFTP and never experienced this behavior. I just tried it to be sure but it's working as it should.
  6. This was debated again this week and one of our resident techs explained it like this.
  7. I would leave these set to :fail: for two reason. 1. No bandwidth is wasted 2. Less of a load on the server
  8. Thanks Curtis, works the same as tempinbox.com
  9. >/usr/bin/php -q /home/wvtroop/public_html/system/cron/sessions_clean.php
  10. Or create a forward for a throw away email address so you can see if they sell your name.

    Upload Error

This is the thing in Wordpress 2.0 that has kept me from upgrading. Why didn't they just leave the upload script alone? It used to be you specified where your upload directory was and were able to set the permissions and be done with it.

  19. Are you seeing any errors when you view errors in cPanel? Did you create the database.txt file and make the permissions 666?
  20. In cPanel you need to create email accounts. Once you create those accounts you can use any email program to use them. There are instructions on the help site that will assist you on setting up your email program. You can also check out the movie tutorials.
  21. Wlecome to the forums David Some PHP stuff does not work properly when accessed using IP numbers on a shared server so it would be best to use your domain name. As for your paths they should begin with "/home/your-cPanel-name/public_html"
  22. Your welcome email will contain an IP address for you to access your site until you change your DNS pointers.
