That's probably one of the better ways to do it. If you want feedback from your site use forms and good form processor which will hide your email.

To automate downloading the backup and not waste your web space. Without having a reseller account not sure if you can see them. cPanel doesn't even have screen shots of what's available. Your cpanel skin is x

As Andy already mentioned the reasons for not doing this you might also want to read this thread.

There has been a maintenance update released for Firefox. Get it here.

I know it's just a beta but IE7 is loaded with bugs and a vulnerability has been reported.

Perl and PHP are both scripting languages. I'll probably get bashed here in a minute but when working with databases, especially MySQL databases, PHP is more suited to the task. Not to say that you can't work with databases with Perl. The choice is up to the person doing the implementation. The language they are comfortable with. As Aaron states, cPanel is not a CMS but a control panel that brings a lot of tools together under one interface. If you want a static site you don't need to a CMS. IF you want a dynamic site using a database a CMS helps manage it better than if you tried doing it all by hand.

www.jensenconnection.com/photos/ Note the trailing slash. If that doesn't work I'd recommend contacting the author and ask. When you find what works, please post back in case others try this and need the solution.

FTP the contents of that folder to your public_html folder on the server. Your main page should be named index.html, index.htm or index.php

Rob, great idea!

Have you tried leaving off the xp_publish.php? Base URL would not include any PHP file.

Install the ioncube files again and that should solve your problem. Make sure you upload them in BINARY format.

My guess would be your domain name for the host. The port looks right 3306. You will have to give access to your IP number in the MySQL Access Hosts section of cPanel.

ASP does not run on the TCH servers. You will want to use PHP. This is just my opinion but why reinvent the wheel when there are so many other CMS programs available?

Add the domain to your whitelist and it will stop sending them to the junk folder.
