The other thing that would prevent you seeing a machine is if sharing is turned off on that machine.

Are all computers in the same WORKGROUP? If not you can only see the ones in the same group. Right click on the My Computer icon and select Properties. Assuming you are running XP click on the Computer Name tab, then click the Change button, what is in the Worgroup field on each computer. They should all be the same.

Correct please open a ticket with the help desk. Reason for the stats not running: High load on server at the time possibly caused by backups being run.

I couldn't find any requirements on their site so I would suggest that you find out those first. As for installing it for you, TCH does not install software but I see that Subdreamer offers professional installs for a fee.

I couldn't agree more Tim. And it's getting to be more and more of a pain maintaing many installations. Which ones are running 1.5 and which ones are on 2.0 and now 2.01. My biggest reason for not upgrading has been the new Upload feature. I use lots of images and being able to specify what folder I want to use for images is what I liked about all previous versions. I have no idea where they came up with this image upload scheme but I would never use it. I'll go back to FTPing my images where I want them before I use that feature now.

The reason I don't use IMAP is the mail is always on the server. And you have to remember to delete from your folders or else you will use up all your web space with emails and attachments. But I POP mail from three different desktops, PDA and my cell phone occasionally. And setting only my home desktop to delete while popping mail works for me.

Welcome to the forums Scott You are on a shared server so your database name is not Joomla it would be Your-Cpanel-name_Joomla same for your user name it is preceded with Your-Cpanel-name_ And don't forget to add the user to the database.

Jim, I have this running on two of my sites without problems. I did have a problem installing it on one site so I removed everything and started over. Have you tried that?

I really don't have an answer to using the fullbackup script. I manually make my backups. I also download them to my own machine. Yes, cron automates the process for you so you don't have to do it. If you have other siites on other servers yes, you could FTP to them. If the other sites are on the same server it's sort of pointless. If the server went down and had to be restored your backups would have been on the same drive (not good). Another thing is make sure which ever account you are FTPing to has enough space to hold the backup. Aaron - create an ftp account that only has access to the folder you want to send the back up too.

If you are running Wordpress it's already being done for you. Just need to add a link to your theme for them to access. For Wordpress 1.5 and up the link for the RSS feed would be the following: http://yourblog.ext/feed/

If you don't want anyone to be able to access the script.php file place it in a root folder (same level as public_html) then change your cron job to read. >/usr/bin/php -q /home/cpanel_name/folder-you-create/script.php > /dev/null That should be all you need to do.

Welcome to the forums. On all machines except the one you want to keep the messages on in your POP3 client me sure to check the box that says to leave a copy on the server. I do it all the time and it works perfectly. If you send email from your laptop there will not be a copy of it on your desktop unless you CC or BCC yourself to download the message on your desktop.
