  1. You can download the new version and/or patch here
  2. You can download the new version here
  3. Very nice video Rick! Happy 4th! We are about to step outside to watch the fireworks show that the country club right next door does every year.
  4. The images look fine here as well. No red streaks on mouseover on either the top nav or the side buttons. If you would like me to post a screen shot of what I see, I can!
  5. Well, if I were you I would (ahhem -- move the sites to TCH) check the plan you are signed up for with your host, and if your plan provides one or more databases, contact them to make sure you are getting what you are paying for.
  6. Probably the best thing would be to contact your host and have them check your account to see if the old database did actually get deleted.
  7. Hi chronofire, It appears from your message that you are not hosting at TCH? Maybe you should move your sites here. TCH offers unlimited databases!
  8. Bigshew, Are you talking about Ultimate Form Mail Script? (I recall mailit.php being a file in that package). Sorry I cannot help, but wanted to suggest going to the forum on their site, I am sure that someone there will know the answer.
  9. LOL they just did that...there wasn't an update to it 30 minutes ago! That will certainly make it easier for everyone!
  10. I know that some of you all use the Gmail Notifier for Firefox, so I thought I would post this info here. Recently Google changed their Gmail URLs, so Gmail Notifier has stopped working. I checked out Firefox's site and the manual fix has been posted. Search for nsGMNotifierService.js on your computer under Documents and Settings. Open in Notepad and change all instances of "gmail" in a URL to "mail" (case sensitive), for example: from http://gmail.google.com/gmail to http://mail.google.com/mail It only takes a minute and my notifier worked perfectly as soon as I made the change.
  11. Elzee, Glad I could help with your obsession ! Welcome to the forums!
  12. Elzee, and anyone else that is interested, I found this website that decided to put the Dedicated IP "myth" to the test. http://googledance.ca/index.php?showforum=14 They set up 4 domains, two using shared IPs and two using dedicated IPs and are checking them at intervals (they started in March 2005) right now the two domains using SHARED IPs are ranked ahead of the two using Dedicated IPs. Also, they linked to a Slashdot interview with Craig Silverstein, Google's Director of Technology (from 2003) Here is what he had to say:
  13. Hi Elzee, I have only taken a quick look at Mals-E and some stores using it, but I don't understand why SSL is needed. From looking at the sites using it, it seems that as soon as you click an "Add to Cart" button you are taken off your site to their site for the processing, ie: calculating taxes, shipping, entering billing and shipping address etc. Again, I just took a quick look, but it wouldn't seem as if you need SSL. Do I have it wrong?
  14. Hi Jacques and welcome to the forum! It's hard to tell for sure from your example, but you should be using: cpanelusername_dbusername for the username cpanelusername_dbname for the database name Is that what you are using?
  15. Hi Michael! As far as how to install zen-cart, there are install instructions in the download file. Basically upload the files, create the database in Cpanel, change permissions on a few files and folders and run the install. Yes, there is a way to compare them! www.opensourcecms.com has demos for both programs. If you need just basic features, I think either cart will fit your needs. You might also go to both OSC and Zen-Carts site and look at the showcases to see what others have done with their sites. Welcome to the family! Don't hesitate to ask if you get stuck with your cart.
  16. Hi Michael, Just a couple comments on your cart questions. First OSCommerce can be installed from Cpanel. Literally one click and it is installed. Zen-Cart you would have to install manually, but it's really not very difficult. You can customize either program to look any way you want. How difficult that is depends on your experience level and how customized you want it to look. I prefer Zen-Cart, it currently has more built-in features. OSC has tons of contributions that you can add, but those require modifying the core code and some contributions don't play nicely with others. What you may want to do is decide what features you want, as well as what kind of payment process you are going to use and check each cart out to see which is a better fit. As far as what the findmyhosting.com comment, well, like the others said, you cannot please everyone. The 100's of great comments there definately out weigh the few negative ones. I am a happy customer that has been here for about 2 years....I'll also mention that the forum moderators are also customers.
  17. It's here: http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/web-hosting-family.php Then you can click on: blog sites, commercial, personal or non-profit
  18. That is excellent! Congratulations Dick!
  19. A while ago I was looking for Project Managment software and looked at a couple programs. I remember thinking that phpCollab (php-collab.org) looked pretty interesting, but other things got in the way and I never went any further with it. Check hotscripts.com, there are quite a few PM programs out there.
  20. Hi CitiZen, I just had to ask...have you tried Zen-Cart? I saw your name CitiZen and it struck me...maybe Zen-Cart is the way you should go
  21. I'm sorry, I don't know the answer to your question...but was wondering if you could post how you fixed it so others in the same situation would know. Was it a bad address in your file? Thanks!
  22. Your gallery and forums both look to be working from my end.
  23. Glad I could help! Have a great saturday!
  24. Hi John, Check out cafepress.com.
