since we dont offer shell access the command line patch is a no go, there are patches avail that you can ftp up and simply run the upgrade script. The version of phpbb that is included in cpanel is provided by cpanel.net not TCH. It is up to cpanel.net to upgrade the scripts provided.

Just name your banner 'logo.gif' and replace the one in the images folder of your current theme.

I have never used IPBNUKE so I'm not sure what the differences are between it and PHP-Nuke. I'm sure both use Themes/Skins, these should be in the Themes directory. You can edit the CSS to change things like fonts and bg colors, but the rest of the site will require changing/editing images. Themes made for PHP-Nuke should work but most are made for Nuke only or Nuke w/phpbb. You should start with the forums at IPBNUKE and see what other users are doing or find a theme someone has already modified. If all they have done is port IPB to Nuke then you will need to learn how to skin NUKE and IPB; assuming that the IPB section of the site has to be skinned seperate.

Yes and /usr/local/bin/ is the path to ImageMagick

It is due to some scripts creating directories under the user "nobody". This means without root access you will not be able to delte, rename, or change permissions. The best tway to go is to submit a ticket to the help desk and tell them what files you want deleted.

copy the following code into a file and save it as fixtheme.php: ><?php ##################################################### ##################################################### require("config.php"); $host = $dbhost; $database = $dbname; $username = $dbuname; $password = $dbpass; $def_theme = "NukeNews"; mysql_connect($host, $username, $password); @mysql_select_db($database); ####################### BEGIN THE INSTALL ####################################### mysql_query("update ".$prefix."_config set Default_Theme='$def_theme'"); ?> If you don't have the NukeNews theme uploaded in your site then change the value for $def_theme = "Insert_Theme_Name_Here"; so that it reflects one of your working themes, save it, upload it, then point your browser to http://yoursite.com/fixtheme.php

So is this... Anoox Search Engine Submission Terms of Use 2. Anoox Search Engine Submission b. If your web site has content within a password protected area within your web site you must provide Anoox a username and password as part of the registration form. The username and password must be valid for the duration of your web site's inclusion in Anoox Search Engine results and will be used by Anoox only to evaluate whether your web site continues to maintain the minimum criteria as detailed in this Terms of Use

You need to put your requests into the help desk, these forums are not for one on one support, and are not monitored by staff 24/7 https://ssl.totalchoicehosting.com/supportdesk

If they continue not to update once a day then definitely contact the help desk.

I use ImageReady on occassion. You can use the "Jump To" option in PS and IR to switch back and forth between the two. I use this mainly to create templates. You can do all your editing in PS and then after you create your slices you can jump to IR and export to html.

Accessing Squirrelmail User Preference File
TCH-Dick replied to abujenin's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
It is in the directory .sqmaildata outside of public_html. You access it via cPanel's File Manager or via FTP using the file mask "-al" (no quotatation marks). -

If you use XP's Automatic Updates but are not ready to install SP2, then you have an option. Toolkit to Temporarily Block Delivery of Windows XP SP2 to a PC Through Automatic Updates and Windows While recognizing the security benefits of Windows XP SP2, some organizations have requested the ability to temporarily disable delivery of this update via Automatic Updates (AU) and Windows Update (WU). These organizations have populations of PCs, upon which they have enabled AU. This is done to ensure that these PCs receive all critical security updates. Since SP2 will start to be delivered to PCs running Windows XP or Windows XP with SP1 via AU starting on August 16, these customers would like to temporarily block the delivery of SP2 in order to provide additional time for validation and testing of the update.

Well we are in the new house now, unfortunately all of our furniture and 99% of our other belongings wont be here until the end of this week. But its all good, we absolutely love the house and the town. Its nice and quiet and we have spent the last three days sitting on the porch. Moving from the desert with nothing to see but tumbleweeds and mesquite bushes its a HUGE change to see pine trees, oak trees, squirells, groundhogs, blue jays, cardinals etc in your front yard. I feel like one of those ppl on the folgers coffee comercials, every morning I get up around 7, fix myself some coffee and sit on the porch.

TCH has been around since early 2000. I dont know what if any changes are in store for the future, right now we just plan to keep doing what we're doing because thats what seems to work
