Each domain has its own cpanel

could be heat, memory, motherboard, faulty power supply etc....Could be something else bad causing the motherboard to go bad. Voltage fluctuations from the power supply could eventually kill a motherboard. It wouldnt surprise me if the motherboard is bad again, but I would bet its some other factor like the PS thats the real problem.

Is There A Quota On Our Main Cpanel Account?
TCH-Dick replied to dlevens's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Yup, Lisa is correct. If you dont have a contact set up in cpanel (prefferably one not associated with your domain) you wont get notices like that. -
Anything below 1.0 is good, during peak times 3.0-5.0 is OK, anything over that any time and we start looking into whats causing it to increase. the loads on tchstatus are just displayed differently, if I recall correctly divide the load by 100 and it should give you a number like the one in cpanel. keep in mind the graphs on tchstatus.com are not real time.

I would hope they arent blocking e-mail sent to other hosts, but I guess it would be possible. As for the 24 hour outage, a LOT of hosts (us included) had a 24 hour outage last Sunday due to a rather large provider (approx 1500 servers) moving to a new datacenter.

If you dont get the auto responder message the e-mail is never reaching our server. You got it with the yahoo address, you didnt with your business address, we dont block e-mail accounts, I just looked through the mail logs and the only mail from you reaching our server is from yahoo.

The only way I found your address is because I have access to the database for this forum and am able to search through the 3800+ members we have to find it. Aromal was wrong in saying those e-mails would not be answered. The simple fact of the matter is, those e-mail address are piped into our help desk, the live chat is also piped into our help desk. The message I posted above is the only message that was recieved from the e-mail address you provided. If you have any questions you can e-mail me personally or your can open a support ticket using the help desk link at the top of the page. The help desk is handled via e-mail so you will get a confirmation and copies of all replies.

e-mails sent to support@totalchoicehosting.com are piped into our help desk, none were recieved from your e-mail address or they would have been answered. We have never said a customer cant e-mail sales@ or support@

There is one message from the e-mail address thats in your profile. It was answered within 2 minutes of being recieved. simon ***** Posted on 14 Jul 2004 10:33:37 PM Live Support Message Delivery: ------------------------------------------- Does your hosting integrate with the Zend debugger? Without knowing your name or e-mail address I cant look up any of the e-mails you sent to see if they were replied to. I tried looking with just Simon but didnt find anything except for a few that were 5-6 months old, so I'm pretty suire they werent from you.

Those folders are for Front Page extensions, if you dont use front page you can log into cpanel and uninstall the extensions and that will remove the folders

The simple fact of the matter is policies are policies, rules are rules etc. This topic has been brought up numerous times and our policies have not changed. This is the way TotalChoice chooses to operate. You cant please everyone and we do not try to, totalchoice is a "budget" hosting service, if you need more features that we do not provide, and have stated over and over that we do not provide, totalchoice is not the host for you.

Email "from" Me, Not Really From Me!
TCH-Dick replied to runninghorse's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
SPAM lists...legitimate ones anyway, block IP's not domain names. The domain name may get blocked by individuals that recieved the mail, but its the IP address that it is being sent from that spam lists block. -

Phone Verification / Paypal Questions
TCH-Dick replied to wintips-inc's topic in Pre-Sales Questions
we do phone verifications during normal business hours, usually later in the afternoon. -
just downloaded wondering if it works yup it does, although I would prefer an auto correct
-
for when your posting replies on a forum would be one reason

The 60 days is not a TCH policy, no registrar will allow a domain transfer for 60 days after its registered...or 60 days after its renewed. youneverknow nailed it, you should be able to set your DNS info by following those instructions.
-
If you recieved an e-mail with your username and password the account is already active, you dont have to wait until it has been phone verified to use it.

make sure you saved the config file as config.php it is named config_sample.php by default
