Look under Options>Miscellaneous and activate Allow File Uploads. Make sure you check the permissions for the directory you choose.

so, whats everyone think? I know calendar is spelled wrong, I'm working on that, but dont have a blank image, or the original psd so cant edit the layers. Anyway, let us know what you think and if you see any other mistakes. I dont think the designer used spell check

Glad you got it going. I don't use osCommerce but there are plenty here that do, so if you need anything else just ask.

If you are only going to be linkng to the cart and not intergrating it into the rest of your site then there is no reason to change to php.

That is just saying that you can install cPanel's osCommerce in store.yoursite.com (yoursite.com/store/) but not store.yoursite.com/mystore/ (yoursite.com/store/mystore/) If you want to have it in a subdomain, do not create the subdomain first. Allow cPanel to install osCommerce in the subfolder then use SubDomain Maintenance to setup you subdomain. Otherwise cpanel will tel you that the directory already exists and will not install osCommerce.

I believe that folder is created by cPanel.

What FTP program are you using? You can set the file mask to -a which will show all files. If that does not work, log onto your cpanel at 'www.peppervideo.com/cpanel' and look for the link/icon for 'File Manager'. From there you should be able to see your .htaccess. If it is not there you can upload it via File Manager.

I honestly can't remember who, but one of the family members has their SSL certificate set to a generic sounding domain name. Then all their clients share this certificate. I'm not sure if they are on a reslller plan or a dedicated server. Your best bet would be to submit a ticket to the help desk.

Server 32 is a reseller server and reseller servers don't have a shared SSL certificate. You would have to purchase your own SSL certificate.

If you look on the left side of your cPanel you will see Installed Perl Modules Just use the link 'Click to View' for a list of all installed perl modules.

Between all the monitoring we do auto submitting a support ticket would be a waste of resources for the most part We have our own monitoring system that pages Bill, Alan our lead sysadmin and myself. We also have a 3rd party that does monitoring from outside the network that also pages all of the above. Alan also has his own monitoring that alerts him as well as the Sr. techs. Bill runs server monitoring from a server at his location and I also run a monitor system from my house as well. Bill and i both carry blackberrys pretty much 24/7 that get sent a detailed e-mail every time a service doesnt respond. Sooo, we usually know about an outage before anyone else does

Sorry about the trouble with the redirect. It appears that cPanel doesn't like you to leave that box blank. If you don't want to use the redirect then you can add the following to .htaccess >DirectoryIndex /catalog/index.php

There should be an icon or link depending on your cPanel that is labeled 'Redirects'

If you are using cpanel to setup the redirect leave the first box blank enter your index page (e.g. index.html) in the first box and in the second box enter yoursite.com/catalog/

Tree fell on our line last night (again) it was still working this morning but someone must have tripped over the line and broke it loose. The cable company was going to be out tomorrow to repair it, so i just grabbed some tools and electrical tape and spliced it myself
