  1. Thought I would throw my 2 cents in here. PHPNuke is available as a one click install on all of our plans, BUT it is version 6.0. Version 6.9 is the current public version and has a lot of fixes. I would suggest downloading Nuke and installing it yourself, it isnt that hard plus it gives you more of an idea of how things work. I have 5 sites here, 4 of which are nuke sites so if you need a hand just ask here on the forums, like Lianna said PHPNuke is a 3rd party script so it isnt supported by the TCH staff, but asking on the forums usually results in quick help.
  2. I dont use CSB, but the info should be the same as what I use for ws_ftp Site name can be whatever you like Web site address www.santolina.net FTP host address santolina.net host port 21 ftp directory public_html ftp username your cpanel username ftp password your cpanel password default file name index.html
  3. Another tip to avoid e-mail loss during the transfer time, keep your e-mail set up as is with your old host, and set up a new account with same e-mail address in your mail program using the IP address of the server of your TCH account. This way since DNS propagation doesnt all happen at the same time, no matter where the person sending e-mail to you is from, it wont matter if they are hitting the old mail server or the new, you'll get it either way.
  4. You can install it with one click from your cPanel. Just look under addon scripts. If it is not listed there then put in a request
  5. the only files that REALLY need to be restricted are config_global and skin_global.php, these should not be writeable unless you are making any changes in your admin cpanel
  6. yes you can, just submit a support ticket requesting the domain name be changed
  7. Very nice! Some good info there. I get asked at least 3-4 times a week "why does my FTP stall for a few seconds" Now instead of trying to explain it I can link them to your post
  8. try 644 on the skin_global.php file

  10. the index of / you are seeing IS your public html folder. Your main page needs to be named index, either .html, .htm or .php
  11. The best thing to do when dealing with the phpNuke Links module is to also add the link in the description.
  12. no, it just logs active chat sessions
  13. With the paid version you can close trillian in the middle of a conversation, re open it and the conversation you were having is still there in the message window, no need to dig through logs. If this is available in the free version its new.
  14. Just another FYI, i used to use the free version of trillian but a few months ago I paid the $25 to get the full version. The chat logging feature alone was WELL worth the $25
  15. We accept credit cards and PayPal, there arent any plans that I am aware of to add any other forms of payment.

  23. Trillian here to, it lets you run multiple screen names for each service, so I can have my work screen names and my personal screen names running at the same time on one app.
