  1. When I view the source I see <html><body></body></html> which is your blank page. try to place a page with something on it in the folder http://www.biom.net/eventteam/
  2. Be sure to keep your billing info like CC expiration date, up to date by logging in using the link in your welcome e-mail
  3. You can always set up a filter in your e-mail client to put any e-mail from @totalchoicehosting.com to a special folder and a second filter to put forum e-mails boards@totalchoicehosting.com to another folder.
  4. You might also try the mini php turtorials from Total Choice hosting. php mini tutorial by Jim Uni and php mini part one tutorial by TCH-Jack as a way to see what it can do for you. And I agree with Jack, there is no substitute for a book, as it will take you from explaining what it is, and show the basics and then more advanced. It will help to understand enough to be able to read someone else's code or tutorials. And it is handy to have as a reference.
  5. What I did, bought hosting here created site here, with slight difference at old host, removed all e-mail accounts except the default (any@mysite) forwarded old default to my ISP e-mail setup a pop3 account on outlook express for here with the IP address / account name pointed domain to new account here. So during the propagation (up to 72 hours for all ISP's to update their name servers) e-mail arriving at old host went to my ISP e-mail and when e-mail arrived here, I would get it when checking my pop3 here. So no loss of e-mail Also after propagation of the web site, you may notice e-mail will lag a few days and still go to old host. This is normal. If you have any more questions, please ask we love to help.
  6. Done, check for a PM.

  9. And yes <?php // end main content // add footer file include $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT']."/footer.php"; ?> works fine but, <?php // end main content // add footer file include $_server['document_root']."/footer.php"; ?> causes Warning: main(): Failed opening '/footer.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') So it must be uppercase.
  10. Not sure if this is the same one, but I did find another possible one for you http://www.radinks.com/upload/
  11. Welcome to the Family Mike and your new home! Most databases do not takeup much space unless you have a very active forum. So you may not see the space they use, but they do count . We really are like family here. So if you need anything, just ask your new family! We love to help And don't be a stranger
  12. This thread is going nowhere. It has been said over and over. This is very clear! The ONLY exception is to ask tech support to park another domain name on top of your site. You may NOT point a domain name to any part of your site, that includes sub-domain, folder or page. This thread is closed.

  16. If you are using an e-mail program, check your setting as per TotalChoiceHosting Help Site look at How to Set up your E-mail Client and E-mail Setup did this work before? On your e-mail program, try tools > options > advanced and change from port 25 to 26 as you ISP may be blocking port 25 now. Let us know what program you are using and if it is set as per the help site.
