  1. When signing up do not use an addy at your site. Also when you get to your new cpanel change the contact address to one not at your site. This will insure that you receive important e-mails from TCH during the signup and later. This is the one place I put one of my IPS addys.

  7. I just tried with a phpinclude folder created in the home folder above public_html php_value include_path '/home/cpanelname/phpinc/' and it works, but you will have to add paths to the includes if they are not in the include folder of course. And you can put the include folder anywhere in the public_html folder too just change to php_value include_path '/home/cpanelname/public_html/phpinc/'
  8. I think you can add php_value include_path '/path/to/includes' to your .htaccess file to achieve this.
  9. As to screen resolution, its true it has swung towards 1024x768 as the most used, but 800x600 is still close. see http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp for Display Resolution Stats: and the warning: Web developers be aware: Many users still have only 800x600 display screens. As to table width, there are many opinions for fixed or percentages. If you use percentages it will fit, but on a hires screen some lines of text may be only one line, so you need to add line breaks. If you use fixed be sure to code less than the target width as in 750 rather than 800 to allow for a scroll bar and bleed room. Its still a personal choice. I prefer percentages for both tables and font sizes so the page will at least display at any screen size, including the new PDA devices. And fixed font are not best for accessability or visually impared or old age eyes
  10. Since it is just a friendly installer I would just install myself as per the Phorm v3.0 docs. I have installed the Phorm Jr version and had no trouble configuring it.
  11. I would put the files in the scgi-bin folder and in your browser goto your site/scgi-bin/regkey.html and see if that helps. Remember to put back the first as it was in the phninstall.php file, as you will now be running under your own ID
  12. I wonder if they are referring to scgi? In cpanel > cgi scripts you can create your own cgi wrapper folder to run scripts securely under you own id in the cpanel created scgi-bin folder. from cpanel docs
  13. Yes and for resellers, when you modify or upgrade an account, and you are the contact, WHM will e-mail you and not your client.

  20. I think that was the reason I forwarded my old e-mail to my IPS e-mail and it just a temporary thing until the old account is no longer active. And that way you will know when the e-mail propagatin is done.
  21. loads in michigan
  22. Its a mystery I am logged on on here for hours, and get e-mail notices all the time. The only other setting that might make a difference is Enable 'Email Notification' by default? Enabling this option will automatically subscribe you to any topic you start or reply to. I don't know why it works for some and not others.

  24. I am sorry, I did not mean to embarrass you. I was thinking about the topic description "Subdomains Setup Not Working" And was trying to suggest that you try to place a different page in the /foldername to see if the subdomain was working. I should have added that.
