I have been asked by several clients to look at running smtp over another port other than port 25. This is due to the fact that many ISP's are blocking port 25 thus rendering send mail inoperable. As always, TCH listens to the client base. I have started to work out the details on this project. I am working on what server to use as a test bed. If I could get some some beta testers that would really help. Please respond here if your willing to ( and would not need the technical guidance to report your email client) become a beta tester. I just need to pick a server then we can start testing this work-around. I will be watching this thread over the next days looking for anyone willing to work with me on this project. If things go well, we will port smtp to an additional port on all the servers. Bill

At this point I have no clue what cpanel is doing to the bluelagoon theme. What your seeing in your cpanel is courtesy of cPanel. Sometime ago, cPanel aquired the rights to the x themes. I am not sure of the details, if they simply bought the rights or not, I just know they now own the x themes. Over the past two months or so they have been hard at work migrating all the WHM/cPanel defaults to x. cPanel has refused to answer the question "Where does this leave Bluelagoon". This latest move by cPanel would indicate to me, that they are moving to replace bluelagoon. After spending thousands of dollars in Flash Movies and developing our web site around bluelagoon, I am as thrilled with this move as the next user. I really dont have any more information at this point. Bill

I am aware of this problem with the boards and have been looking for a way to fix it. To this point have not been able to track it down. I think it may be fixed with a new upgrade to invision, however this is not planned in the near future. Untill then, I have not time frame for a fix. Bill

VeriSign wreakes havoc with .com and .net top level domains. On Monday September 15th, 2003 VeriSign added a wildcard A record to the .com and .net top level domains. As a result of this action all .com and .net domains will appear to exist even when they do not. Can Verisign sink any lower? More information about this change can be found here.

pixel I took a look at your account and found the problem. There is a known bug in cPanel. SQL does not work with usernames containing a - in the username. You will need to submit a support ticket, and we will need to change your username and get rid of that pesky - in it. Once this is done you should have no problems autoinstalling IPB. Drop a ticket and we can fix it. Bill
