I will not vote for anyone that uses the words "I just want to spread the wealth". Screw that! If you son get's a A+ on his history test, and my son gets a D. Would you be willing to spread his grade over to my sons. So now your son gets a C and my son gets a C. yea thats really fair.

In an effort to improve customer satisfaction and answer some of our critics.... Effective immediately we have enabled instant account activation on all virtual and reseller accounts. There are some simple guidelines that we will adhere to in the ordering process however. We still will be utilizing Fraud Guardian to fraud check all our new account orders. When a new order is placed, this service assigns a risk score to the order. This number ranges from 0 to 10. We will not auto activate any new order with a high fraud scrub number. We will still phone verify the high fraud number orders. However, since 99% of all our new orders have very low fraud scrub numbers, instant activation will be ongoing for 99% of all new orders. Looking forward to Instantly Activating all your new accounts. Bill

Zach, I can tell you heads are rolling right now at TCH. This is 100% not acceptable and I am very upset about this. We have migrated tens of thousands of domains into our new data center and have had very few issues. It seems when an issue occurs its ugly and I roll heads over it. I have spoken to our Data Center Manager about this and expressed my concerns over this horrible act of customer service. He is working on a reply to you now and should be posted here shortly. I have also spoken to our top admin and he will be working with your personally on this issue, so please do expect contact from Carl Noonan. You have been with us a long time and understand that this is not how we run our business. I am VERY sorry for this issue and promise you a full detailed explanation is being worked on by my team right now. These issues are hereby stomped on by my big foot. Please allow me to correct this issue and you can go back to years of faithful, reliable service from TotalChoice.

The economy is in a world of hurt. US Sales of Automobiles hit record lows. Hummer sales were down 54% Ford sales were down 34% The credit crunch is what is really going to bring the economy to its knees. Many companies rely on short term credit to sustain daily business operations. Small business are struggling to meet weekly payroll's without the short term credit lines that they are so used to obtaining. TotalChoice hosting is a debt free company. We are 100% cash based and have no recurring monthly debt or credit loans to worry about. Since day one we have expanded using cash from our operating profits and NEVER have incurred loans to sustain or build operations. It is something I am very proud of.

Hello, As most of you know we have moved our technical operations into our data center space located in Troy, Michigan. This has left us with our location in Lake Orion that is simply not being used any longer and was costing funds from the bottom line. In a effort to better handle our work loads, we are going to have all billing and correspondence snail mail going to a new, more centrally located location. This will simply help us manage our daily work flow in a more efficient manner. Effective immediately please note the following changes: Mailing and Correspondence: TotalChoice Hosting, Inc. PO Box 518 Oxford, MI 48371 Physical DataCenter (Do not send correspondence to this address!): TotalChoice Hosting, Inc. 319 Executive Drive Troy, Mi 48083 Thank you for your continued business and support. Bill

Unlimited Web Sites On One Hosting Account?
Head Guru replied to Paul Squires's topic in Open Discussion
Our virtual hosting plans do not allow this, you would need to step up into a reseller plan to have this option. In this business, you get what you pay for. If up time and reliability are not important to you then go at it. Thanks -
Terri left for high ground before the storm hit. Ive spoke to Dick several times today, everyone is fine but neither dick nor terri have any power. They think they can get out of work from this, I think not! Ive been answering Billling tickets for the past couple hours, I am not used to all this work. They need to restore power to them asap!!!!!! Bill

I spoke to Dick DeVance several times during the night last night and into this early morning. He and his family are doing fine. They are without power but Dick has told me there was very little damage to the neighborhood. Bill

I will be very happy MLB fan when Major League Baseball does the same. http://www.boygeniusreport.com/2008/09/07/...light-to-flash/ After watching well over 50 games on the road using my laptop and 3g air card, I can testify that Silverlight needs a lot of work!

Ok here is some more insight, and please keep the ideas coming. This has been one of the hardest things I have even been asked to do. These two people have never been to the USA. They are from Russia and I am not sure if they have ever left Russia at all. They are coming to the USA to visit their daughter who migrated here when she was 20. So they are in their mid 50's i would think. I was thinking a copy of Born in the USA Thanks so much to all.

Well, personally I think it looks like a mug shot of a white collar criminal. yuk yuk yuk

If you were charged with giving a breadbox size box full of things from the USA to someone who has never been to the USA, what would the contents of the box contain? Your not budgeted but everything you put in the box has to go thru customs. Well to be honest, I have been put in charge of just such a task. I will keep you all posted on this, but I really need some input on what to put in the box. My thoughts are............... 1. Chick - o - stick candy 2. Mini Bottle of Southern Comfort Whiskey or Jack Daniels What would you put in the box?

Intermittent Network Outages
Head Guru replied to TCH-Ryan's topic in TCH Data Centers Network Announcements
The replacement cisco gear was overnighted to our facility and arrived this morning at 10AM. Ryan has been working on configuring the new gear since it's arrival. Last night at around 5:15PM EST, the secondary supervisor card on our new router failed and thus we moved to our backup "hot spare" Cisco 6509 router and have been flawless since the move back. So we have been running fully redundant since then. Our total downtime was around 15 minutes during this unexpected event. Our plan is to ultimately get moved back to the newer 6509. However, this time around we are going to put the new gear under a full load test for approximately two weeks to make sure we do not run into the same issues again. We will be announcing another window of maintenance on July 5, 2008 from 11pm till 3am. We do not expect downtime during this window to exceed 15-20 minutes. This window is needed to allow us to move our entire network over to the new routing gear. Just a note that our router is fully redundant with two routing supervisor cards, two power supplies and multiple network interface cards. We also stock an entire "hot spare" with the same configurations. The hot spare is always ready to take the load in the event that our primary router fails. After looking over the failure of our new router, we will were very happy that the hot spare system was in place and prevented a prolonged outage at the TCH NOC. We will be posting more information as it becomes available and also will be posting about the new window of maintenance on the 5th of July. Thanks!
