  3. I have read your tickets and your post here on our forums and I totally agree that we failed to perform up to the standards. iIt appears the causes of your issues were from several issues. Instead of taking up so much time I just want you to know that I hear your voice loud and clear and in fact am addressing this in a longer term fashion. We have just hired a new Customer Service manager that will be taking on the role of making sure that things like this simply do not happen. I am thank full for your business and I hope to be able to serve you for many more years in the future.
  4. After many interviews and many considerations, I am very proud to announce the hiring a new staff member. We have never had the need to have a Customer Service Manager as I have always thought that we did a pretty good job with customer service levels here at TotalChoice. I have been watching trends and I feel now is the time to expand our staff and bring on a person that will deal with any and all customer service issues. I feel we need to pick it up in regards to communication with our clients and I think Mike is the man that can do this. So everyone please welcome with a round of big applause.   16. If your account has been hacked it is not due to a system wide issue, it is a account level issue on your files. Update your scripts, check your code and if you need help notify our help desk.
  17. Hello TCH Family. I wanted to give an advance notice that coming in the next few months, we will be dropping HyperSpin as our official monitoring platform. We have found their service to be very reliable, however we have simply outgrown it and will be releasing a new and improved monitoring service in the next 30 days. Stay tuned for an update.   19. These servers went fast. My friend Andy scooped up the last available one. I will be releasing details on another server sale very soon as this appears to be popular with the family.
  20. Greetings TCH Family, Our DNS Servers have been happily collocated in another data center facility for nearly 10 years. We were recently informed that the data center where two of our DNS servers are located will be ceasing operations. Since we are being forced to move our servers, we are taking this opportunity to move the servers into our own Data Center. The following DNS Servers are scheduled for immediate replacement : 64.246.50.105 : ns1.totalchoicehosting.com, ns1.snhdns.com 207.44.236.88: dn3.totalchoicehosting.com, dns3.snhdns.com If your domain is pointed to us using the above DNS Host Names you will need to take NO action. Your domain will continue to work after our migration to our new servers. If you are using the DNS Servers IP Address to point your domain name to us then you will be required to update the IP at your DNS registrar. Most domain registrations are done using DNS Host names and only customized DNS services use IP address as host name. I will be updating this thread with the new IP Address allocations for the above servers within the next 24 hours. Once the new IP addresses have been published we will be posting them here. This is simply a general information notice of our plans. We will be updating this thread as we move along with this migration. Thank you for your time in this matter.   21. The repopulation of backups to this server has been completed. To our delight the performance of RAID 6 has been excellent and the server is running better than we could have ever hoped for. So much in fact that we are going to be looking at implementing RAID6 on all our backup servers. This does present a problem only because moving from raid5 to raid6 will mean that our total amount of usable space will decrease. So we are looking at adding another server to the backup farm here at TCH. We will keep everyone updated on this project. However, if you are a user that utilizes backup3 I am confident that you are already appreciating the major increases in speed that this change has brought to your backups. It is a great day to be a TCH GURU!

  23. Hello TCH Family, I wanted to update everyone on our Billing Migration. We have successfully migrated from our old billing system into our new Billing Portal. This will not effect any recurring invoices, as we will still continue to auto bill our clients that have a credit card on file with us. Your username and password remain the same and this upgrade should be seamless for every user. We are very excited to be rolling into this new system as it will provide for more streamlined services and is more fitting for what our clients have been asking for.   24. Hello TCH Family, I am very excited to finally talk to the family about our billing system software. As most of you know we have been using software called "ModernBill" for many years. While it has served us well over these years, we have been listening to feedback from many of our users about the features and more importantly lack thereof in the Billing Portal. We have heard the family asking for automated upgrades, better graphic user interface, streamlined account cancellations and much much more. We have spent a good amount of time creating a way for us to migrate our very large client base from ModernBill into a new platform. Due to the hard work of our team this has been accomplished and we will be moving all our clients that are currently being billed from within ModernBill into our new platform. This migration is planned for today to begin at 5PM EST. We do expect to have a few issue arise during the migration and we will work as quickly as possible. In the mean time please be patient and as soon as we have completed the migration we will be sending out a mass email to all our clients and also updating the TCH Family Forums.
