Chmod/premission Properties On Cpanel
TCH-JimE replied to WAdotcom's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Hi, Please start a help ticket and we can sort it from there. Jim -
Hi, It depends, I run a phpBB forum and with just under 80,000 page views last month, it consumed 1 gig of bandwidth. It depends on the "style" that you attribute to the board too. Some of them are heavyly bloated, others like mine, are sparse with only a the standard jpegs and gifs Jim

Hi, Aha, my apologies, was galloping down the wrong route. Ok, have you tried on the final screen leaving "select state etc etc" as it is and then put your area of cyprus you live in under "Province" underneath it? You will still need to enter your postcode under the zip/postcode bit Let us know if that works! Jim
-
Chris, Is this the first screen that your having problems with? You can select non US or if your on the check2out screen, select outside of the US, I believe its the second option down. You can then select cyprus as your home country. let me know if you still have problems! Jim

Hi, Do you have any more information about this error, or a page we can look at? Jim
-
Hi, Is the original MP3 deleted from the server, so your uploading a fresh copy? Jim
-
<cough>Ah<cough> Lianna or Head Guru can confirm/deny this. More info can be found here:http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/about-we...eb-hosting.html I am not sure if Head Guru has anything else to add. Head Guru keeps a close eye on server loads etc so you can be sure that your site will never be slow! Jim

Maybe Head Guru = HAL from 2001? Jim
-
Hi, No that is not correct as I too live in the UK. Have you tried restarting your computer, cleaning out the browser history and trying again? Do let us know so we can make you part of the family here! Jim

There should be a caption underneath (like the cards) which goes: "After several years of marriage, Bills Wife compared the cut out to Bill and started to realise that Bill was not possibly using the correct side of the 'Gym with Beer Bar' membership" Jim

Mail - Several people here already install squirralmail and other clients so yours should not be a problem. We are running version 6. The specs for the centre I believe are listed on the TCH front pages. The reseller accounts are on the dual PIII whilst new clients to the other packages are currentley being placed onto the dual xeon boxes. This is nots possible unless Head Guru has something in the pipeline. jim

Hi, What FTP program are you using? Just as a side note, I hope you own the music/rights of the MP3s that your uploading so that you are complying with the TOS that you agreed to when you signed up. Jim

-
hi, Do not worry, we shall to try to make the entire process as simple and as painless as it can be. Welcome to the family! Jim

Hmmm I wonder, you can set a page to not cache itself, maybe doing this to your pages will mean google can not cache them yourself. If you need too, there is a site which has most sites backed up so you can see it changing through the years. I can not remember the address of the top of my head! Jim
-
Hi, Yes you do. You will have to submit a help ticket once you have registed and up and running and we can fix them for you Jim
-
Hi, Other question, you not got it to set to sleep after say 10 minutes cos that would cause the same problems Jim
-
Hi, That is correct, whether your affected by your address change, I am unable to comment. Head Guru can put you straight on that one, although if you have had reciets through for the domain name, I would think its going ok. If you have not recieved your welcome email within 24hrs, let us know! Jim
-
Hi, There is a file created for them yes. Jim
-
Hi, Goto into mysql and delete the database. Then delete the user for the database. Then goto into the file manager and delete the folder containing the forum. Jim
-
Hi, Is the cooling ok? Jim

Hi, My bad, I misunderstood the question! Jim

Hi, I brought Shuttle SN41G2 a few months back and I have to say I love it. Why? Well: Its small. No i mean its really small. Take 1 size of A4, its smaller then the length and breadth of this. This means I can pick it up and carry it around the house without a problem and I don't strain my back! Its brushed aluminum case is beautiful It has a AGP slot and PCI slot, as well as on-board sound, Firewire, USB and graphics already provided. Ok so no printer port but funnily enough, I am not bothered any longer by this! My current spec is a Radeon 9000 64Mb machine with 512 Mb DDR ram driving a Xp1800+ Athlon chip, 80 gigs hard disk with 40X CDRW in it. I also have a 5.1 creative sound card in here which I may take out soon. Its quiet. Its not dead quiet and I can still hear the fan, and the CDRW is very very noisy but thats not the cases fault. Downsides: Its expensive The PCI slot can get in the way of the CD drive if you have one fitted although rubber supports are used to stop any scratching Its fiddly. If you never built a computer before, don't buy this as your first one because the spare space is none existent It wont take some AGP cards which require a space PCI slot. Basically I love it, its compact, chic, fast and has a cool blue light on the front of it Link: http://www.shuttle.com/new/product/barebon...s_b.asp?B_id=11 Jim
