How Do I Get To The Tch Family Only Forum?

Have you ruled out public accounting? Your objective would indicate that you have... you may be limiting yourself. Many public accounting firms offer well paid jobs with good benefits. .. even to non-CPA's. One other thought.... you've noted that you prepared individual income taxes for 02 and 03 under the heading "Additional Information." You might want to consider that this was a sole prop business that could be part of your work history. Entrepenurial ventures always impress would-be employers. Good luck!

You know Thomas, I've never even seen the batch rename function till you mentioned it and I went looking for it. But it does appear to work... My suggestion to you would be to batch copy your images to another folder and try it before you try it on the original folder. It can't hurt to try! This is such a cool program! I've been using Version 4.0 for years and I still keep learning about new functions that make managing my image files so much more efficient. VI

Thomas... just thought of another easy way to get your files sorted. In the Navigation Pane view, use your mouse to drag files to whatever order you want them. They will stay this way untill you either choose another sort method or select "delete custom order" from the sort drop down menu. Hope this helps... VI

Like Bruce said, the easiest thing to do is rename the files, "with the same number of characters padding with leading zeroes," so that they come out in the right sequence. Or, you could rename them to a, b, c, etc. and sort alphabetically. Another possibility, if the sequence matches the order in which you created them, is to sort by date. Finally, you can add letters in a description field and sort by description. VI

Replace And Disable Internet Explorer Now
Virtual Imager replied to borfast's topic in Open Discussion
Question: The title of this thread is "Replace and Disable IE Now" ... is it really necessary to disable it or is it enough to simply not use it, but leave it on your machine for 'emergency' uses like testing sites and viewing sites that are otherwise not viewable? VI -
Replace And Disable Internet Explorer Now
Virtual Imager replied to borfast's topic in Open Discussion
One doesn't hear much about Netscape anymore... is it just too outdated? Looking at my stats it seems that almost no one who visits my site is using it. I still have it (version 7.0) on my machine and with all this scary stuff going on I'm thinking about using it again instead of IE... at least untill I get another browser altogether. Any thoughts? -
That's amazing Kris! Please tell us... how long did it take? Did you design the costumes yourself? What kind of reaction did you get at prom?

Today's (6/21) New York Times Technology section has an interesting article regarding the advertising that comes with the emails. They sent some test emails and the results ranged from pertinent to rude to funny. There are a lot of constraints and considerations.... negativity filters, family-friendly ads, ads from competing companies on emails from a business, problems with applying definitions to synonymns.... I personally can't see this working.

I'm not getting that.... sounds strange.

I just sent an email to a business with a very interesting result... I was sent an email back with a link to something called Spam Arrest where I had to verify my existence as a real person (by entering an encoded word from the screen). Once done, my email was delivered and I'm on the allow list for that business so I won't have to do it again. Seems like a good thing for anyone receiving lots of spam... I went to their site and it's free for 30 days and not real expensive after that. Anyone have any experience with them?

For what it's worth.... I think beer-boiled bratwurst finished off over the grill sounds like a gourmet treat and your offer to share it was quite nice indeed! Confrontational remarks breed confrontational replies.... your response was inevitable given her comment. We, men and women alike, generally only push a button when we know what light we're turning on.... the outcome was predictable... and therefore desired by one or both of you. My advice: confuse her by responding differently to the challenges... or learn to love the couch! That will be one hundred american dollars please!

Neomail, Horde, And Squirrelmail - Use All 3?
Virtual Imager replied to dlevens's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
I don't think you can... /webmail just gives you the screen from which to choose which of the three you want (as far as I know). Again, what I did was bookmark the page once I got into my inbox at Horde and now I can go directly there via the bookmark. I am prompted for my password automatically (it remembers) so it's just a click and I'm in. VI -
