Welcome to the forum, jasgp. I am personally running a Joomla site and it works fine on the TCH servers, and as far as I know, no one that is running an SMF forum here have problem.

There is an email limit on all the shared hosting plans, so as for the emails, it should not matter which plan you sign up for/use.

You don´t need to log in to submit new tickets. You will only need to click the "Submit ticket" link. As for viewing old tickets... Not sure it can be done in another way, but when you have submitted a ticket (in the new system) and receives the email confirmation, it will contain a password you can use to log in with in the future. The email the system wants is what ever email you have provided when submitting older tickets.

Welcome to the forum, FlyingJenny. The .htaccess file should be in your public_html folder. If it is not, you will need to create it. To do this, open notepad, enter the info, save as .htaccess and upload it to public_html. If the file gets named htaccess.txt or similar you will need to rename it to the above in bold, before it can be used by the server.

What does it ask you to do within the mysql database?

Not sure what you mean mythusmage, but your site works fine from Sweden.

I am not sure where this ini file you mention is located, but when you have removed Firefox through Add/Remove programs in control panel, be sure that the Mozilla Firefox folder in "Program files" are removed and that the profile folder in Document settings > User name > Application data > Mozilla, is also removed. If these two folders are not automatically removed, remove them manually. That should remove every Firefox related file (that I know of anyway). Then reboot and reinstall Firefox. After that before adding any extension etc, log in to your cpanel and see if it works. If you can visit cpanel (with visible icons) with that clean install, add one extension, check out cpanel, add one more, check out cpanel and so on. If you suddenly can not view the icons in cpanel, you should by now know what is causing this.
