Hello...I'm from the government and I'm here to help! I'm not sure what part of the government is running it, but it's definitely NOT end users! I've worked with some that a windows machine is PERFECTLY suited for! In the FAA, they are using Linux as the OS for the newest version of Radar display. (Link to STARS information page.)

Great read! Sorta puts things into perspective. I enjoy how Linux makes one "think" and learn one's computer system. (But that's just how I am anyway! ) Unfortunately, until a Linux version does the same "non-thinking" stuff that most Windows apps do, the majority of people won't change.

Thank you! Very delicious!

Quickest and easiest way to find that out is to drop a ticket to the help desk and have them check things on TCH's side.

That's one that needs to be told over an ice cold Margarita!

Thanks for the link Thomas. I'll have to check that out. (Although isn't playing around with different layouts why we do this in the first place? )

My first source would be their website. They gotta have some type of FAQ's or instructions on how to do install their software.

I'd be more than happy to spread some of the rain around a bit if I could to help cool some of you off!

Meaning you cannot access it via ftp, for example, but you can always use phpMyAdmin or cPanel.

Forward E-mail To Multiple Addresses?

Welcome to the forums Bob! I have the "comma's" way set up on a few of mine also. -
While it's not webmail, you can also look at Thunderbird. It's also free and used by many of the TCH family.

Plus they are having severe brush fire problems in central florida with major roadways having to be shut down. Up here in the Panhandle, we're not that bad off, but we're low on the rainfall too!

Without going into a lot of the technical mumbo jumbo, Bruce and Andy are correct. With my job, we deal with various types of interference on a daily (sometimes hourly) basis. There are several different things you can do, but you just have to find the fix that's right for your particular situation.

For others that might be following this thread, I use a index.html on one of my sites as a "this site is temporarily out of service" page while I'm updating things. Then, I simply rename index.html to index.html.bak.

As an added security measure, you should make sure to use a combination of at least 8 or more letters, numbers, and other characters. I know it can be a pain, but it will make things harder for hackers. Remember though...nothing is foolproof. If a hacker really wants in, they will eventually find a way. Wish they'd put their talents to better use!

Of course, you could also use a 5-10 pound "alignment tool" on it! I wouldn't do a whole lot of good for the modem, but I'm sure it would make YOU feel better!

You may also want to check out some script sites like javascripts.com. I've found several things I've used on web sites there! BTW...my father came from Workum and I still have several great aunts & uncles there!

What exactly are you looking for?

Hence, adjusting your Spam Assasin settings may help.
