  1. I wouldn't think TCH would be adding that, but Head Guru has surprised us before!
  2. You could hang a sign that says "Crows" and "gulls"
  3. Caddyshack II Now for an easy one: "Food fight!"
  4. Would that be for a "his" and "hers" bath?
  5. Don't skip the vacation! We need the tourist dollars! (As if I don't pump enough into the hotel rooms as it is!) Sami- Maybe a small curtain is just the thing to help the birds out!
  6. Kingdom of Heaven "Son of a ... that's gonna leave a mark!"
  7. I'm happy I didn't start playing online games. Now if I can just do the same thing with programming and creating websites. /*me goes out and gets another Mountain Dew.
  8. Maybe they are doing their part to conserve water also!
  9. *groan!* That's almost as bad as asking "Who's on first?" and having everyone say "He's playing third!". (For those who don't know, you have to listen to the famous Abbott & Costello "Who's on First" comedy routine.)
  10. While I'm not new to the hosting world, I cannot recall seeing any other hosting company that even comes close to TCH. I too am three years old with TCH and the only way I'll leave is if Bill sells off the company! Great company, great support, great mods, and great family members! What more can one ask for?
  11. CC: Everyone started taking baby steps. It's just that some have learned to run marathons a lot quicker than others. Create a folder to jot down notes of what you did to solve problems and other tidbits. Ask, ask, and ask! You have a whole family here to bounce questions off of. The only dumb one is the one you don't ask!
  12. As long as you learn something out of the experience, you are not the fool. Maybe a temporary lapse of insanity!
  13. First of all, welcome to the forums and family. You don't need to upload a MySQL database...you need to create one on the server. You can do this through the utilities in cPanel. To try to help you with your problem, you might want to look through the messages I found at this thread. Hopefully you can get something out of there that might help you out. Once you get your site up and running, you might also want to look at other alternatives to Frontpage that are almost as easy but don't add Micro$oft's extra code. Hope this helps!
  14. Too true Deverill. There is always a reason why things behave the way they do...even for Micro$oft. While it's not always apparant why, it's nice to be able to look back to "so-and-so had that problem" or "I saw something like this in TCH's forums a while back" and, using the vast resources of the forums, techs, mods, and family members here, solve the issue. THEN go out and get the better product!
  15. Absolutely! Even pennies add up...............eventually.
  16. Have you looked here?
  17. I would check to see what the ownership is on those directories. As a side note, have you looked in the Joomla! forums to see if anyone else is experiencing the same issue? (Might be a bug!)
  18. Did a quick search for my neighborhood and it's pretty close.
  19. Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's in my TCH family!
  20. What is the name of the directory within the joomla! file structure?
  21. Note that there are colons (":") on each side of the word "fail". Some people forget one or both of them.
  22. Just a reminder that no matter which forum you decide to use, make sure you have the latest and greatest version to keep out the pesky hackers and spammers!
  23. As is so often said..."If it's too good to be true..."
  24. Now you know why I haven't flown in almost 3 years!
  25. Don't believe everything you read Aaron! Like any change, you've got those who love it and those who hate it. But from what I can tell, it's better than what they have been using. I just wish things would migrate a bit faster. There are several applications the FAA uses that are still running on DOS 6.22, and most of the modems in use are running at 19.2. I was shocked that I have a faster network at my house than what is in operation at a major center! They follow the old maintenance standard "if it ain't broke, don't fix or touch it!"
