may i say bruce what a choice of car, personally if my wish was car based it would be a DB9 (aston martin) my one wish... wow it's harder than i can think! I guess it would be to run my own club, not a nightclub in whole, more a posh club with leather sofas and mini waterfalls for a relaxing chilled night out thats my "material wish" i do have another one id like more but its not the kind of one i think can be wished for as its fate.

In the United Kingdom... it's going to be unlawful for someone to axe you in a job becasue "your too old" they think by 2020 a great proportion of workers will be 50+ so its financial sense apparently to keep us working. another thing that has popped up an employee forum, companies set a youth or development rate for under 22's if someone is doing the same job down to the tee, do you think that everyone should be paid equally. as in effect this has been said to be age discrimination. this mainly effects "basic" jobs such as in supermarkets where a good percentage of empoyees may be students (typically 18-22) trying to make that extra couple of notes. if the old people can make a fuss, so should the young un's surely? in france student labor laws were changed and the french went destroying paris in a riot...

well you see, as stupid as poking a screwdriver in a live TV is, peopel will do it. there was allegedly a story about a mobile home (camper van) where the guy set cruise control and went in the back for a cup of tea/coffee, the truck crashed and he claimed, wnd won.. now the manuals state that the cruise control is not "auto pilot" i dont know if this story is an urban myth bt it shows that the law is an I AM A SPAMMER! or in the uk, a one i KNOW is true is where a burglar was unlawfully in a property commiting a crime got injured by breaking glass, he sucsessfully sued the homeowner despite being unlawfully at the scene of the incident! of course back on topic.. any site that has sugestions or tutorials should carry a disclaimer, as it always a good idea

i seen this new IE ages ago and it to be honest annoyed me to the max that MS have as i said "ripped off mozilla" still ill stick with firefox unless its a "Must see" in IE

I dont know if most of you guys have heard of a tv motoring magazine on the BBC (uk) called top gear. but the presenters do challenges if you serach you tube for "top gear caravan holiday" they get in trouble with the police for jack knifing a caravan over a road and then they burn two caravans down by accident, its hillarious tv, they tried to destroy a toyota pickup and even demolished it with a skyscraper it still worked.. however 2 days ago one of the presenters richard hammond was to drive a rocket car, unfortunally he crashed it at around 300mph and he survived but is in a serious condition in hospital. heres is a link to the story he was driving this this has been mentioned on many other forums i frequent, and i wish him a full and speedy recovery, he is a legend as far as im concerned of british TV

aha sorry i worded that a bit silly.. current is 1.2ghz 512mb 200gb 32mb graphics, its a a AMD chip dont know the model. looking just to get a dell desktop, or go down the mac mini route

its the graphics card, just thought id update and close my query only thing is its onboard graphics, so the fact that it's part of the pc so to speak is quiet worrying, so until i get a new pc its bad news, and i have no money i plugged my TFT into my laptop and ran a extended desktop, and all colours and resouloutions were beautiful. ill have to open the PC up and maybe its possible to add a new graphics card if the slot is free, (im sure im full up though) is it worth upgrading to a new pc, 1.2ghz 512mb 200gb 32 graphics, im just using it for photoshopping general multimedia and "Messing round"

ok this is going to sound so so so stupid. its 0545 here and i woke up and went "hertz" change it, so from 60hz to 75hz and the lines have gone! i woke up from sleep and dreaming to figure it out, i dont know why it suddenly all started acting funny, but panic over for now... the mind boggles

ok those of you who know what the "wavy text" html code looks like... this is what im expereincing, my TFT monitor is shaking, it isnt as first suspected overheat, as its been off for 13 hrs (On standby will that count?) power lead is in, D plug on the Tower is in, violence the usual answer (hitting the screen ) aint worked what an cause this shakign screen things, any ideas, its only a few months old. thanks in advance peeps

Over the past few days i have been at the cinmea loads, and it hasnt cost me a single penny, (because i get free unlimited cinema tickets ) and i thought it would be nice (if allowed) to add a little movie thoughts and reviews topic to the open discussion forum. so far i have seen You me and dupree, Severance, The Senital (sp) and at your door (sneak preview tonight) tomorrow night i get to see the Talledega Niggts 2 days early. in aware a few of these have been out for a while in the US, but we get them later in the uk, not by much now thankfully. so really prupose of this topic is to reccomend fellow TCH family members whats hot and whats not at the box office, i work on on, so have a vague idea ny 2 fave out of ny list are Severance - about a team building excersise from an office, they are sent to a cabin in the middle of nowhere to do some basic team building, being the brits they are, they get lost, we're good at doing that they find a shack and assume its the one they are at, but its not, there is a mad group of what i believed to be russian ex soldiers out to get them, by now this sounds like a slasher horror movie, but at appropiate times it has very humerous moments in, so think of how shaun of the dead nade a horror comedy. it really is worth seeinf if you can at your door, seen this 4 days earlier than its UK release, and wow! its a powerful film, a "dirty bomb" series of attacks happens in LA, and it shows how one man franticly tries to get contact with his wife whatever that may involve, it shows how electricity grids are paralysed as well as the phones gridlocked, and how he has to chose between keeping himself "clean" or letting his contaminated wife back in the house. you think you have the story covered in your head, but believe me, a newspaper says "with an unexpeted final twist" and wow!!!! believe me it had me out of my seat in disbelief. the first part of the movie is slow, but i think this is deliberate to emphasise how confusing and few and far between news of the event leaks out to civillians, this is one to watch! hope you have enjoyed my little reviews ill add to them the more i see i hope other people will add too, you are all more than welcome

i also remember on dialup if you fancied a surf and someone was on the phone, you could hear them shout (allbeit digitized a little) through the modem, thank god for fibre optics, broadband is great. but think, this was a few years ago all the coupler modem stuff, what will the net be like in 15 more years to think my cell/mobile has 28k internet on it....

hmmm your code there, is what i used in XP home (from what it says in the "windows help center") it simply did nothing and return me to a new line "c:>" and im converting as XP keeps putting this annoying blue screen wanting to check "disk consistancy" every time, even if i have ran the check before. its more of a just "i want rid of this stupid blue screen" oh good god... it's worked and im worried at my message lol 'convert cannot run because the volume is in use by another process, convert may run if the volum eis dismounted first" and it asks Y/N sdo i want to dismount, well force a dismount

sorry to jump in late, this happened with another IPB forum i use ( i shall not link as its about a band who have parental guiance stickers on records) but for some reason firefox did this, and it was fine in IE a tweak or two later found it was firefox misreading or somthing. it wa sfixed sharpish my staff site is having trouble with IE. but when i get emails from my members i say the problem is IE, get firefox. i'll try and find the cause for you off the 1st sides admin guy if i get a chance to speak to him
