I went to siteburg and can not find anything that would show proper syntax for database connections. It could be any number of things, they might not use "local host", it might be the username - ours are cpanelname_username. Same goes for db name and password. Did you create the database for the script? Did you add the user to the database? I honestly cant say for sure as I am not familiar with siteburg. You might need to contact them on this. By the way, welcome to the forums.

Lise, I know many people, myself included, that are not using their degree in the field they work in. It just seems to work that way. Also, there is nothing wrong in working for or supporting a noble cause.

I think the fastest way would be to download via FTP to your computer and then upload those files to root. If you have several files it can take a while using cPanel. As far as I know it should make no difference the location of the requesting files in relation to the database as used on our servers.

You may also want to check hotscripts.com and see if there are any there that will fit your needs. Some of the scripts there are free.

Sometimes we forget that while stuck in our own little fishbowls that there are other fish bowls in our universe. This was a good place for this post though in case anyone does not bother to look in that forum.

Not another version but another skin. I believe that the one with icons is called X. Wp is not installed on our cPanel but you might look for a Addon Scripts if there is no scripts library in the cPanel you are looking at.

By the way, for those that were wondering what the big deal was with this, the offending website was framing Daffis' website making it look as though it was part of his own site. In the address bar it still had the other persons site as the URL. We all welcome inbound links but not when it is done in such a way as to make the visitor believe it is the referring sites page.

That should not have anything to do with it.
