Let us know and we can delete it. Also look to the top and right of "your" post and you should have four buttons, the one next to Edit should be Delete.
-
I do not believe that if you have deleted it and not just marked it for deletion that you can not recover it.

Well when MindSpring merged with Netcom just before you merged with them we lost all of the "D" accounts, those that started with the letter D. I believe it That merger was part of the reason I left, that and they took the beer away.

You would be on your own to install the software but it will work here. Always back up your site before making changes to it as we are not responsible if something happens. That said we do keep backups if you need it but it is usually a day old so it may not be as current depending on what changes you have made. We can not do the db installation for you either. We can help as much as possible here in the forums but your best bet is the documentation that comes with it and their support. I have seen the program mentioned here before but am not sure if there are other users of it here.

Jumping on the band wagon here. I like to story board before I begin, find what works for you. learn enough HTML to be able to edit your code in notepad or cPanels file manager if need be, PHP is a great idea if you can and CSS for sure. Most of us arent a fan of frames and tend to stay away from them, design from a users perspective with SEO in mind and you should be just fine. One more thing, ask us many questions. We need something to do. Now that the change was defined, I use tables often so I cant say one way or another. I will let someone better versed in CSS to answer that. -
FWIW, when TB first came out I tried it. Auto submitted to Google and every other one out there. Never resubmitted though, they will keep comming to the site after the first submission. The big reason for having it come to your site via another page is to assist in the whole page rank popularity, getting better position. Time is your friend here, I would send it to whomever you want but try as Jim said and concentrate on getting links to you. Jim, Have you seen this? I have never heard of it, I need to do more research I guess.

public_html/your_osc_folder/includes/languages/english/index.php Almost at the bottom of that file.
-
That is a fine amount of time. I would omit the Google submission and have another site link to you instead if you can.

Look up on the upper right of my post. See the Quote button?

Remember DNS propagation can be from 24 to 72 hours, make sure to give it at least that long before starting to worry.
-
Glad to hear it. Keep us posted if you have further questions. Thumbs Up

Krawford, As far as I am aware the only method of payment is PayPal or Credit Card. No checks for the moment.
-
Thomas, give us a little bit on this while we get things straightened around. We will make the change though, hang tight with us.

Lets take my example of my cPanel login being mydomai. I am going to create a database called "datab" and a user for it called "admin" I will assign admin to the database and my login will be "mydomai_admin" as the username and the password will be whatever I called it. Remember the database name is also called "mydomai_datab" in this instance.
-
Have a link from your home page to your forums will get the ball rolling.
-
Oooops, Bruce is correct Me Lets say you log into cPanel with mydomai as the username, your database username will be mydomai_dbname.
-
MrsD, I havent used Publisher before to make web pages but as long as the templates are saved as an htm or .html file you should be fine. As to your second question, there are no instructions on how to put up a shopping cart on your site because there are so many to choose from. Each shopping cart will have its own instructions and you can even find a couple that come with your hosting account.

From the osCommerce Forums;

No, the PayPal cart works using PayPals secure sytem. Just create the buttons from PayPals site, paste it into your page and it will do the rest.

Mitch, it is the most current for BSD as well. It isnt an issue really, I will pretend this is a Microsoft product and call it a feature.
-
Can't, FireFox for FreeBSD crashes if you open a secure site in the first tab. I want stable software thanks.

Is it just my browser or is the About Us menu off? I show one too many bullets and then Hosting family goes to Link to Us and Gurus goes to Hosting family and there are no Gurus. FireBird 0.6 Edit: Looks like the way my browser is displaying things, all menu items are one higher than they should be. Clicking the blank spot works for me.

We need to remember that your IPS will be caching the big sites as it is to give you a faster service as well. Caching servers are designed for this and they give the impression that you are getting great speeds when you are going no further than your own ISP network wich will always be faster.

Great job to all of those involved. Thumbs Up
