  1. Thanks everyone! I've got the workings of a page up at http://www.aaronandsarah.net/wedding.html however I'm still working on setting up a seperate blog or something, so we can write about what we're having to go through in planning this thing! lol Thanks again everyone!
  2. Hey TCH family, just wanted to let you know about a development in my family. Sarah (my girlfriend) and I are to be married this coming May. Eventually you can find out more at our website located at http://www.aaronandsarah.net/ (which is of course hosted by TCH). So check it out!
  3. When you say that, you mean advertising links that are displayed for instance when I run a google search?
  4. I'll start running my searches through the Opera UI from now on
  5. I agree with you on that carbonize. Although I usually don't check my work in Lynx until later, I hit the others during the development process. I've recently started using Opera as my primary browser, and am beginning to appreciate even more a good quality site design (as if I didn't before, but still).
  6. Opera is now completely free. No more ads. No more registering!
  7. I would agree with Steve on this and recommend you re-install SP2. Then we'll go from there.
  8. AMD rules! lol indeed, while Intel seemed to focus on "getting out the larger numbers," AMD wisely chose to improve the design to squeeze out more performance from a lower "clock speed." Talk about intelligence...
  9. Personally I use OpenOffice.org, and rather like it. As soon as version 2.0 is released, and I have a viable alternative for MS Access, then I'll love it even more (I hate that my work relies so heavily in MS stuff, but welcome to corporate America).
  10. I wonder when Microsoft will realize you don't have to change the UI of a program every time you release a new version. Then again, I'm an old command-line kinda guy.
  11. I died again. Of old age. I got stood up at the altar 3 times. But I had a mansion, a yacht, a fancy car, and I was happy.
  12. Wow, there went my productivity for the day lol. I lived this time to be an old man, didn't get married (just no luck, everyone I dated was either already married, or didn't last long). While the doctor was removing my lung (apparently I had a bad cancer) I died on the operating table. I was a millionaire, no family and no will. This is depressing lol.
  13. Interesting game... I worked at a law firm, had a girlfriend, was the "town hero", and then one night I decided to see how fast my car would go. I had to start over lol. A bit of advice: don't speed down a desert highway.

  22. Does your debit card have the Visa or Mastercard logo? If so, then you can use it like it were a credit card.

  25. That would be my guess as well. A 266MHz eludes to the age of the system. Why not consider putting that "large" drive in a newer system? They are extremely easy to come by (at least in my area). I can get a P3 500MHz for next to nothing.
