  1. Try GMT. >putenv("TZ=GMT"); echo date("F d, Y @ g:i A T"); works for me in a quick test.
  2. You're welcome, I'm always happy to help out the family It's the ones who spell it "Cur" I'm not so sure about
  3. You mean it's not even 11pm yet Tim ..... maybe we should devise a plan whereby no-one from the west coast of the USA is allowed to look for a while .... or should we just delay it to make sure you can't find out too early
  4. welcome to the forums Karen Try using the link ftp://user:password@mytchdomain.com
  5. Don, I've edit your post slightly, because I found your response slightly offensive. I've checked up on the ticket, and I'm perfectly happy with the response you were given; It has been explained to you exactly where to get the downloads for ioncube. Where there are instructions for installing it, and where you can get help. Our 24/7 help desk support has to concentrate on server related issues, and it is far more productive for everyone to have coding, scripting and other none server related support provided by the forums here. I'm sorry that you found the response was not to your satisfaction, but personally when you write about a staff member in what I consider an offensive manner (hence I edited it) it doesn't make me want to rush to answer your question. Perhaps if you asked in a more friendly way you might get a better response.
  6. you guessed ..... What are we going to do now .... we'll have to sort out something else for the announcement quickly
  7. If you mean the same billing account, when you sign up for hosting of the second domain, click that you are an existing client, and use your email address and billing login password to add it to your billing account.
  8. Welcome to the forums Chen 1. We have a number of people with Chinese forums, so it should be fine. Can you provide a link to the forum, and I'll have a quick look if it's an obvius setting causing your problem. I can probably even write 你好 in the forum here, and if you have the Chinese fonts on your computer you should be able to read it (for those that haven't it will be just square boxes). 2. If you ask for notifications in each forum of the BB, it will email for every post. 3. I think you would have to modify the script if you wanted additional information.
  9. Hi Don, You asked in your ticket Hence the answer was no, as stated above. We do not install Ioncube serverwide. dl() is not blocked on the server. The best bet is to reopen the ticket, and provide details on how we should recreate the error you are seeing. Then we can help you out there.
  10. Is it time to start giving a few clues ? Or is that going to make it to easy for folk to work out ?
  11. Hi Ron, That does sound a little annoying, to say the least. It's not one I've come across, can you provide a picture (screen capture) of what it looks like ? My natural instincts would be to try reinstalling OE, with the latest version and patches.
  12. Welcome to the forums jwsterns If you have removed all the mail, it should reset itself anyway. One that is often missed is the spam folder (if you have one set up) and also the sent mail items (if you use webmail). If it still doesn't seem to clear, open a ticket at the help desk, and we'll take a look.
  13. I must be getting faster - I managed to beat Thomas to a post :)
  14. Hi, They are both working for me. This may be a simple propagation issue, if you've only just set it up. Or possibly a cache issue.
  15. Hi Rob, Welcome to the forums To maintain server reliability, and effectiveness, we keep all our shared servers to the same specification hence why we could not install a specific patch onto your server. Mailman is not something we maintain, it is something that cpanel maintain, as part of cpanel. There are a number of email scripts which I think will do what you are after, and also spread the load of sending emails over time. You could check somewhere like hotscripts.com or there might be someone along here soon, who has suggestions. As to if dadamail allows for setting up group of lists in the way you describe, I'm not sure. You could possibly to it with forwards though.
  16. welcome to the forums
  17. Either of those would be OK
  18. Bruce, I'm just about to sign off for the day (getting late over here in the UK ), but testing went well - give me a call in the morning and I'll show you the latest - just don't tell
  19. I'd suggest setting your catchall address to :fail: and then create an email address for yourself and either forwards, or email accounts for any legitimate ones you want. That will then remove all the randomly chosen user names.
  20. I'd personally ask them to sign up, and add your email address as the alternate contact. They can give you the welcome email, then you have the passwords and all the info. However everything is in their name for the billing side.
  21. My personal experince..... I've seen those scripts used to many times to send spam, so personally I'd never use one. But then I may just be biased
  22. welcome to the forums ggilfedder
  23. Welcome to the forums
  24. Have you got access to raw log files at all ? You can get the information from there. Alternatively, you could check the size of a typical page, and multiply up for the estimated number of hits you get.
