  1. I do not believe them to be origionating from my hosting account, I seem to simply be recieving the bounced email notifications when the spam emails are denied by the recipitant as addresses at my domain (which I dont use) eg . As far as I knwo all automated comment systems should be disabled on my site too although I will double-check this. Does anyone know of anything I can do in this situation? I will send a support ticket now.
  2. Firstly, is there any risk of all mail from my domain becoming blocked as a result of spam emails with it in the from line ? I normally recieve a handful of "undelivered mail" with the standard penis enlargement / online pharmacy messages, however over the last few hours the situation has been far worse (and so far hasnt shown any signs of improving), im presently recieving around 10/min totalling 3000+ within a period of a few hours... Also, is there a way to take any action against this? (I seem to remember a site which would analyse mail-headers and attempt to find an isp etc ?)
  3. When I attempt to extract a .rar via filemanager all I get is: file.ver.num.rar File Type: RAR archive data The file does not appear to have been extracted and I cant see why not
  4. I was wondering what this function does, i found advice for frontpage users to turn it off to prevent 406 errors (i dont use FrontPage but have been getting the 406 errors and found turning it off worked) and so i wanted to know what it did as turning off security related functions can have unexpected results
  5. I was wondering whether its worth using mysql_pconnect? I will be making lots of database requests and in the future may have a high user load however at the moment i do not and im unsure of which would be more efficient (connect or pconnect)
  6. >$locale = setlocale(LC_ALL,'gv_GB'); echo strftime("%Z - %H:%M:%S"); output: EST - 11:32:17 The above code doesn't seem to affect the time, i've tried various settings instead of gv_GB but so far none seem to work, however this one seems to be recognised the time just remains in EST
  7. Backlink changed, and thanks
