Can you describe a bit of features you are looking for? Webportal seems quite broad.

nativity, All forums and posts are read by most here, so there is no need to cross-post your question. Asking once in one forum category is all that's necessary. If the moderators then feel the question would be better suited to a different category, they will move it. Hope this helps. Welcome to the family!

I see no reason from the WhoIs lookup of the domain that would suggest why the domain cannot be transferred. I would suggest logging into your registrar's site and look to see if the domain is listed as "locked" for some reason. That said, you don't have to TRANSFER the domain to TCH just to make your site go live here. All you really MUST do is change the DNS entries from: NS.SPEEDFACTORY.NET NS2.SPEEDFACTORY.NET to NS1.TOTALCHOICEHOSTING.COM NS2.TOTALCHOICEHOSTING.COM For more specific instructions, you may find information on changing DNS entries at the TotalChoice Hosting Help Site. Movie tutorials for many of the popular registrars.

Perhaps this info from CuteFTP's Help File could be useful: Transfer can also be slowed by firewall and antivirus software. In no way am I recommending that you disable those! Just check to see if there are any settings in those applications that may help matters.

This will be investigated.

blue, Really good point about the stats getting skewed by the forum access of your image. I hadn't even thought of that impact. Another option? Does your isp offer you a tad a free personal home page space? Most do. Perhaps that could be your image repository.

We're glad David referred you to TCH as well! Good to hear that you are pleased with the services and support! Thanks!

jsrp - Ok, you've come to the right place! Let's start basic, k? First what program are you using to create your home page? You will want to save that page in html format and give it a name of index.html. Next, when connected through smartFTP, you should upload the index.html file into the public_html directory. Let's take this one step at a time and we'll try to relieve some of that anxiety.

From the cPanel SpamAssassin page: I'm going to guess here...since the mail is being physically moved into a folder called 'spam', then that mail would remain on the server in the 'spam' folder until deleted/moved via Horde or IMAP client. So, by turning Spambox off, you will not receive those e-mails back into your inbox, nor would they then download to your pc client. Hope that helps. PS - Also, if those mails remain in the 'spam' folder on the server, they are taking up your valuable web space...go purge them through Horde to keep things clean.

Welcome Mike! Glad you found your way home.

or this one that is a link from Rob's suggestion: www.dailychanges.com/

Hey Lexi, I just did a WhoIs for your domain and it shows TCH/WildWest Domains as the registrar. From whom did you get this last message?

Not exactly what you were looking for (which I don't recall ever having seen) but I found this page of ICANN's site rather interesting. Provides an inferrence for the data you wish: http://www.icann.org/financials/gtld-contr...chart-02-03.htm

JesseD, Very nice, clear contribution...Thanks from all of us!

Johnson, I am confused, so please bear with me. Do you mean the .lnk (that's an "L", not a captial i)? By "on the title bar" do you me your start menu or favorites list? I think I need some more information or perhaps a screen shot to help you further.

Sorry for the delayed reply, Richard. Setup the ftp user through cpanel. Login using ftpusername@****** to ftp.****** Leads me to believe that the file you are attempting to upload already exists on the server. Did you try a different file?

*YAY*

and Merry Christmas to you, too!

I just set up the identical situation on my domain and it works dandy (and all happened very quickly). Can you tell me what steps you took? Here's what I did: Open CPanel and go to Manage SubDomains Enter the name of the subdomain (email.****) Click Add button Go Back Select email.**** from dropdown list next to Setup Redirection button, then click the button Enter >http://****:2095/horde/index.php into the space provided and click the Save button. That was all I did. I will tell you though, I was just changing the redirect on an existing subdomain and now it isn't resolving correctly...I'm going to keep an eye on this one....

So which game is that you think is great? There are many games listed there. (I edited your link to remove the clickability.)

To quote the HeadGuru (owner and founder of TotalChoice Web Hosting): HeadGuru is very dedicated to this business. His pride and attention are amazing attributes here. I don't see this company being sold. It's too personal for him and his family...my opinion.
