Throwing out the uptime 99.9% here, in the grand scheme of things, it really doesn't matter. In my opinion, the uptime isn't what makes the host great. It is a combination of things, many things, that makes a webhost truly great. Near the top of my list however, is problem response. Sure, I'd be annoyed if my uptime was 75%, but I think more important than uptime is the webhost's work to get a machine back up. This is how I see it. I would gladly put up with some downtime if every single time my machine went down, my webhost tried hard to get it back up as quickly as possible. This is what TCH does. When there is downtime, TCH comes in here and works 100% to get it back up as soon as possible. Not only that, TCH keeps its customers up-to-date about what is currently going on with the machine, and I've seen Head Guru apologize repeatedly over things like that. The uptime is important, but something at least equally important is the webhost's effort to get a dead machine back online. This is one of the many areas that TCH excels in.

I've left that update sitting in my system tray this morning... Generally, I wouldn't worry about the MS patches. It may help correct any standby or shutdown problems you've been having. As a matter of fact, my computer has been having problems restarting or shutting down fast lately... I wonder if it's an XP problem...

www.w3schools.com is a good resource for CSS, if I'm not mistaken. I only use iframes in one application on one of my websites. I wouldn't suggest using them really, unless you're using them for uses that nobody would want to bookmark... Like perhaps using an iframe to load up advertising content. I've seen a scrolling DIV, and those work well.

Make sure to let us know what happens... Are you just pasting all of the information into the text box, or did you save it locally as a text file to upload? Something else you might want to do is break up the file into smaller parts, then use the parts one-by-one. This may take some time, but at least it will get done. Break them up to say, 5MB or 10MB each. If you know MySQL at all then you'll know where you can break it up. Otherwise, break it up at a point where there are a few multiple line breaks with no actual coding...

I would suggest option #1. As far as #2, you'd have to write up your own script and configure it to utilize the Invision login system.

It looks like it's trying to cache the incoming file before building it into another file... And the cache isn't working. It could possibly be trying to save it as a filename that it can't save it as.

Hmm. Looks interesting... I'll take a peeky at it a bit later if it hasn't been solved yet. I would like to know that as well... (I noticed RSS feed here and thought maybe there might have been useful information for me... I just revamped my website's RSS feed to function like the MT Blog index.rdf file).

I've got a bevy of permanent redirects for my website, and I also have a subdomian on my website. Here is what's going on. In my primary website, I have a permanent redirect: >Redirect permanent /about.php http://www.omgn.com/about/index.php In my subdomain, I have a file: >http://darqness.omgn.com/about.php Whenever I tried to access the subdomain's file, I got redirected to my main website's redirection, the about/index.php At the moment, the only way I've worked around this is to add an underscore to my subdomain file names that match anything in my main website's redirects. Is there a way TCH can fix this problem?

The help page that TCH has up has a problem on it. The address for SquirrelMail in the action="" part of the form should be: http://your.domain.ext/sqmail/src/redirect.php Are there any known problems with using /sqmail/ instead of going through /webmail/?
